ObsessIng over every little twinge

Yesterday I decided I probably didn't ovulate on the 50mg of Clomid. Negative OPKs all week (tested Tues thru today, Sunday). I actually tested twice on Friday and twice on Saturday. All negative.

We BD'd twice (Wed and Friday evening). I had some CM on Thursday and good CM on Friday, although I would not have classified it as egg white, but maybe I don't understand the descriptions I am reading. Completely dried up by Saturday morning. I did not bother with BDing yesterday evening as were hosting a little sleepover and the boys took forever going to sleep as one would expect and I knew DH would think I was crazy for asking, plus I was sure I had not ovulated and the CM was gone.

Today (Sunday) I noticed lower back pain and abdominal pain. Both mild. Feels like I am having mild cramps and got a little workout yesterday (I did NOTHING strenuous yesterday). It's been going on for a few hours now. I am lying down right now and feeling a tightening sensation in my abdomen.

So now I am thoroughly confused. Am I feeling ovulation? I do Vaguely remember this feeling from before...but it's been 5 years.

Let's say I did miss my surge and my CM on Thurs and Friday was the EWCM, ovulation would have happened Friday evening or early Sat morning since I was all dried up by mid morning Saturday (yesterday) right? Or is
this the right time for me to be feeling ovulation "pain" even though all my tests were negative including the one this morning (mid morning)? Maybe the Clomid dried up my CM but the ovulation was still forthcoming? That doesn't explain how I missed it in the tests though.

If I wasn't TTC I doubt I'd even be noticing these sensations - well I would notice the lower back pain - but not the cramping/tightening.

Maybe it was just something I ate! Seriously! My stomach IS making funny noises.

This is normal to obsess like this, right?

Also Bridget, are you taking your temp at the same time every morning? And is it after at least 3 hours of consecutive sleep? My OB/GYN always tells met hat so many factors can alter the temp and to take them with a grain of salt.

I agree with Susan--keep BDing if DH will go for it, just to be safe. :)

I took my temp properly yesterday - slept several house - didn't even get out of bed to take it - 6:30am.

That was the 97 degrees even score.

The day before I had just woken up, but I had been up earlier in the morning, and it was 9:30am.

But I plan to stick to the 6:30am routine from here on out.
