Over 44y preg NOT SO RARE!!

Someone posted yet another article on FF about women getting pregnant over 44y just doesn't happen, and if it does it is "miracle country", incredibly rare.

Well it made me mad!!

I started compiling a list of over 44y pregnancies I'd come across just online.

After a quick search through some of the websites I've read over the past couple of days, after just a few hours of casually looking around at the most.

How can it be so rare, so impossible, such a miracle - when I can find so many so quickly???

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
Kirsten, Oslo, Norway - I am 43 years old and pregnant for the first time.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Lanie, Colorado, USA - I am 44 and seven months' pregnant with my fifth child.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
Gwen, Cardiff, Wales - I am 47 and gave birth to healthy twin girls at the tender age of 46. I had a relatively problem-free pregnancy and carried my babies to 38 weeks. They were both a very healthy weight - 6lbs 1oz and 6lbs 7oz - that's the equivalent to a twelve and a half pound single baby!!
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Linda, 47,Lancaster, CA - I was 44 when we tried to conceive. I was told after 1 year of trying that my ovaries were dead and that my chances were 1 in a million to conceive. Two months later, I conceived naturally. My pregnancy went well and, at 46, I gave birth to a healthy boy.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
Susan, 47, Shetlands, Scotland - I am expecting naturally conceived twin in Feb/05. I just wanted to post a message to let all the other older mums out there know that it is possible and that 47 is NOT too old.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Sherri, 45 - I am a single mom. My son is a year old now. My pregnancy was a total surprise (I was taking birth control). I had never planned to have a child, but it is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
Penny, Guildford, England - Baby at 46 - After several months of trying in 2002 we 'gave up' and left it to fate. I changed my lifestyle from 45 hours work a week to 20 hours/week and lo and behold, baby!
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Everything that I had read suggested that the chances of conceiving at 44 would be extremely slim, so rather irresponsibly my husband and I stopped using any method of birth control. Two months later when my period was late, I didn't think for one moment that I could be pregnant. I was suffering from severe abdominal cramping and assumed that my period would arrive at any moment. When I began to feel nauseous and my breasts became very tender, I took a home pregnancy test. Imagine my surprise to discover that I was pregnant - even though it hadn't been planned. Our next shock came when we had the first ultrasound scan and we were told that there was not just one baby, but two!!

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
I admit that although we weren't practicing contraception, we also weren't actively trying for a baby and just adopted the attitude, "If it happens, it's meant to be". Well obviously it was meant to be because in September 2000, when I was 45½, I discovered to my delight that I was pregnant.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Wendy,47, from Norfolk with Kasia (born 4/3/03) at 2 weeks old. Partner Phil is 50 this year. I conceived naturally after one etopic (only one tube) and two miscarriage, 2 & 3 years before conceiving Kasia. Phil doesn't want her to be on her own, so there may be even another attempt this year!!

Jan, 45, Freelance Writer and creator and owner of Mothers Over 40. Expecting fifth child on 2 October 2005.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
He and his colleagues reviewed all 12,066,854 deliveries in the U.S. between 1997 and 1999, categorizing mothers as young (age 20-29), mature (age 30-39), very mature (age 40 to 49), and older (age 50 or more). There were 539 deliveries in the older group.
Last week a woman, age 54, gave birth to triplets. No fertility drugs. No in-vitro fertilization. It shook up the world, since this woman already had eight children (the youngest 16) and 15 grandchildren.
Ooooo Momma! Getting Pregnant At 50! First of all, yes, Virginia, it is presently possible to have a baby at 50.
When the symptoms first hit Morgan Zantua more than a year ago, she assumed they signaled menopause. Or just plain exhaustion. At 51, she was busy carving out a new career, trying to finish graduate school and juggling several part-time jobs. When she and her husband George, then 57, had time to catch their breath, they sometimes allowed themselves to dream of selling their remodeled Fern Hill home and traveling around the world.
Instead of the expected transition into the end of her reproductive years, Zantua was headed for the biggest surprise of her life. Medical tests confirmed she was pregnant.
On the other hand my mum had 7 children after age 35 and her last at 48 (all the while trying not to have more children) so you never know.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

The oldest recorded natural pregnancy was a woman who was 57 years old in California in the late 90's.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
Many of the spontaneous conceptions after age 45 do result in multiple births. Take Arcelia Garcia for example -- triplets at age 54 in 2000. Natural conceptions. Also in 2000 a 53 yr. old gave birth to twins (natural conceptions) her story was a bit eclipsed by Mrs. Garcia's however.
My name is Terry, I'm 47, my husband is 50 (this week) I'm pregnant again, without TTC, 7 kids
(28-6)& 4 M/C in past 4 years.........
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

I just read on a site that a 50 year old woman is 9 weeks pregnant after doing an IVF. This is in Europe, no donor eggs were used, and they are just delerious. Got pregnant on her very first try.
She got married when she was 45, she wanted kids as soon as she did get married, but never thought about alternative treatements.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
Because of her poor responses to ovarian stimulation, inferior oocyte grading and prohibition of donor oocyte usage in Japan, the couple decided to discontinue further IVF treatment at age 48 years, 10 months. One and one-half years later, at age 50 years, 3 months she presented to our clinic eight weeks pregnant. At term she delivered vaginally a 2740 g healthy infant at 38 weeks gestation; Apgar scores were 9 and 10.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Oh, my cousin had twins last year...not planned...just happened. She was 48 at the time she got pg.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
DH has a friend whose aunt had a healthy baby at 51. This was many years ago, so it was definitely her OWN eggs.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Also, my sister works with a woman who decided at 45 that she wanted to have a baby. She went off BCP's, got pregnant the following month and delivered a healthy girl.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
I was so down this morning and had gone for a walk along the beach and a coffee with my DD and just unloaded my doubts about turning 45 and ttc. A lady asked if she could park her baby next to us as we where at a table near the door when she came back she sat at the table next to us it was obvious she was an older mum I told her I was after what she had she told us she was 45 yrs old - yep my age! I believe that was God's appointment that meeting he was saying " What problem?"
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Just wanted to let you know I was 45 going on 46 when I got preg. what I did was go on fertiltyblend and was preg in two weeks Just had another baby boy in jan 25/05.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
I read an article in Woman's World magazine about a woman who was 51, and thought she was going through menopause, since AF hadn't arrived. She had tried for years to conceive, and came to the conclusion that it wasn't meant to be, but always held on to a sliver of hope that maybe "someday" it would happen.
Then, at 51, when AF hadn't arrived, she finally realized that her chances of ever conceiving were over. During this time, she was undergoing a massage at her massage therapist's and she told her that she hadn't been feeling well. She told her that she'd been starting to eat "junk food," which she hadn't done since she went on a detox diet more than a year ago. She went on to tell the m/t that she noticed she'd been gaining weight around her mid-section, too, and she thinks it was due to all the junk food she'd been eating. The therapist then asked if it were at all possible that she might be pregnant. The woman basically said she doubted it, due to all the years she had TTC and hadn't been successful.
Well, the massage therapist told her to take a HPT, just in case. And low and behold when this woman did, it came out positive. It winds up that this woman was not just one month preggo's, but actually FIVE months along and she went on to deliver a healthy baby girl.
And again, she was 51 years old!
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

My late FIL was born to his mother when she was 46. He was an "oops" baby, b/c the rest of his siblings were 15 -20 yrs older than he was! And that was back in 1935!!!

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
If you like you can add me to the list. My son Garret was born when I was 40, my daughter Alanna when I was 43, and Brian when I was 46. Matthew was conceived when I was 46.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

I guess I should add my stories. My great grandmother remarried and moved to Canada from England - leaving 2 adult daughters behind, taking 5 children with her. I don't know her exact age, but she would have to be in her 40's when she remarried. She gave birth to 6 more children here in Canada.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
When I was pregnant with my youngest, my friend was pregnant at the same time. She was 48, and turned 49 before her daughter was born at home.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

One of my aunts had babies at 44 & 46, another aunt had a baby at 45.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
Let's see... I'm 52, dh is 54, and the 3 youngest children are 11, 8, and 5. You can do the math. We are TTC again with enthusiasm.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Here's one to add. Just talked with a friend who's mom had him when she was 48. He was her 11th.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
I have a couple of stories to add, too. My hairdresser had her first at age 39 after m/c, her second at 41 after another m/c, had two more m/c's and is expecting her third in September and she's 43 now. Also, my ob/gyn had her first (twins) at age 40 after two m/c's, and she is currently out on maternity leave with her third after giving birth in March at age 42. She also told me that over-40 pregnancies are fairly common in her practice.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Hi All...I'm 5 weeks pregnant and 45 years old in 6 days. Got pregnant the first month we tried.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
Hi ladies - another anecdote. My colleague's wife had her first baby three years ago. The lady in the bed next to her was having her 7th (I think) child. She was 58 - natural conception and gave birth naturally (although had been expected to need a c-section).
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

My grandmother, at age 44, had my dad's youngest sister six months after I was born.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
Finally, I conceived at one month short of 44 - and my partner has sperm issues. So far, my pregnancy has been completely normal and it's my first baby.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Hi, I am glad to find someone around my age expecting at my edd. My edd is 7/8/04 so one day later. Unfortunately, I don't usually make my expectant date so the baby will arrive in July. I was 46 when I found out I was pregnant. It was a total surprise and we hadn't planned on this event, but we are very happy now. My prenatal tests have all showed a healthy baby, I feel very lucky.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
I am 46 and pregnant with #4 i am due 6/8/04 my dh and i were going to give up in october when i found out i was pregnant (we have had 3 mc) i said ok i am 46 now i am happy with my children
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

I am 44 and have an 18 & 17 year old from a previous marriage and a 16 month old with my new hubby (who is 15 yrs younger) I thought this would never happen for me and here I am pregnant with my second (with hubby #2) I do plan on having my tubes tied after this one only because I
think 4 is enough and I seem to be very fertile in my advancing age ... either that or it has something to do with having a much younger husband, I don't really know.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
Hi I am 47 years old and having my 4th baby with my new husband. It was totally unexpected and I am anxious about it. My due date is 1st week August but as my babies have been premature I am expecting a July baby.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

My age now is 48 and DH 54, we have 5 children ages DD's 30and,10 months, DS's 28,21,20. As you can see our little one was quite a surprise, after the intial shock she was much anticipated. In Jan of '03 we had went on the Atkins diet, lost 55 lbs,and I just quite losing, tore the cartilage behind my knee cap was in a brace for 6 wks, then got the influenza, just didn't feel myself, tired, never once did I or anyone suspect I was expecting ( had started menopause also), 5-5 I went into the dr. expecting to hear bad news only to the hear you have EDD of 7-10, yes you heard that right!

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
yes there is hope!!! I am 12 weeks pregnant,and turned 46 last week. I also have a 2 year old son, that I conceived and delivered at 43. Both times I conceived naturally. At 43 it only took me 3 months, then it took 20 months for this one. I was getting really down about it, Had 2 unsuccessful iui cycles. Then when I was on a rest cycle because of a cyst it happened.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Good luck to you! I'll be 46 when I deliver in Oct. (positive thinking!). My husband "blames" my taking Shaklee vitamins for us suddenly expecting -he's a big believer in Shaklee.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
My neighbor had her first child at 46. I believe she did IVF and it took them 5 years.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

The funny thing is, I never thought of age as being a barrier to getting pg. Lots of women in my family have had babies naturally up until 50! This was in the "old country", though. So of course they had no fertility help, but I am wondering if they just used to eat better then?

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
Hi! I am 45 and my EDD is 1/05. I have an 18 yo son and 13 yo daughter.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

The old Cl of this board I think had a healthy little boy at 48 (her own eggs). When I was pregnant with Gracie there were 3 or 4 ladies 45, 46 & 47 that had healthy babies.It seemed like that group of ladies were older than this group

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
She is 47 and they finally adopted a beautiful baby girl. They actually were able to see her being born! The baby is now about 6 months old, and low and behold, she is pregnant!!! She had her amnio not too long ago and her unborn baby is perfectly healthy. She is beyond happy. She
figured they couldn't get pregnant so she threw away her predictor kits, medicines, etc. And now she will have two beautiful babies when she didn't think she could have any!
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

July 1st 2003, our little surprise, Kaitleen, made her appearance into our family, when I say surprise, (at my age at the time 46 and husband 53) and with 4 grown children, 29-20 yrs. everything went smooth, no complications, our 4 children and spouses/g/or b/friends were all waiting patiently in the hospital.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
Where I work a woman's sister in law got pregnant at 46. .they had tried for years and just gave up. .then were shocked years later when it happened.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Not only is it possible, but we just had a board member (windybaby) give birth at the age of 47.
She did deliver early so I can't say it was complication free, but the baby is doing well as far as I know.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
I had a grandmother have my last aunt at 48 so it did not seem so off the wall to me.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

She just turned 47 in May and found out last week that she is 16 weeks pregnant. The doctors said that everything looks great and they are going to do the amnio today. She and her husband have been married since college, tried for a pregnancy all of their married life and gave up two years ago when her periods became irregular. Since she has only had scanty periods, she never event considered that she was pregnant and it was not until she noticed her stomach getting a little thick that she had a light bulb go off.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
I also married a wonderful man 1 month before I turned 43. It took us 4 months but we concieved our beautiful healthy sweet baby james. I will be 46 in 2 weeks, and am currently pregnant again 8 weeks. The hardest thing was getting pregnant this time. We tried for about 18 months, had 2 unsucessful iui's, and then when we least expected it got pregnant naturally. I had an u/s at 5w2d and we could already see the heartbeat. Another u/s at 7 weeks and we could hear it 147bpm.
Everything is looking good.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Heck my Midwife was 46 when she had her first, overweight and high blood pressure. So there!

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
I'm 44, having my second child imminently, and, other than difficulty getting pregnant, have had an uneventful pregnancy (which I hope means the baby will be fine). I had no trouble conceiving #1, but after trying for two years for #2, gave up at age 43 assuming I was just too old. Then it happened accidentally at age 44.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

My doctor didn't think it was strange that I am over 40 at all. He has about 10 patients now that are all over 40. One of whom is 48. So far all of us are having healthy babies.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
My Dr delivered a 52 year old woman & her daughter (early 30's) within months of each other! I had asked him how old was the oldest healthy pregnancy he ever delivered. He said she had no problems of any kind & wasn't trying to conceive either, a total surprise.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Just wanted to know if there were any other moms 47+ years old expecting (this was without "trying")& what there experiences to date have been. I'm only 6 weeks along.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
I am 47 and 6 months, my baby boy is due in sept1 making me nearly 24 weeks!! my last child is 15 years old. I did not have problems falling pregnant but I know it is harder to conceive plus a higher risk for miscarriages.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

I, too, have heard so many stories IRL from people that have had children in their 40's. I can remember years ago when I heard that a gal I knew was 47 and having one, and I thought, my goodness. Well, here I am at 43, going to be 44 when I deliver, doing it.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
I had a beautiful, healthy baby boy 6 weeks before I turned 44. I am currently 30 weeks pregnant with another boy. I will be 46 1/2 when he is born on June 24th. At 43, It only took me 3 months to get pregnant. It did take alot longer this time. We actually tried for over a year, then went to an RE. I had 2 IUI's done with no success. Then the first month we really did not try (because of a cyst) I got pregnant naturally about 8 weeks before my 46th birthday. I will do my darndest to stay young and fit and healthy to keep up with these 2 little boys. My dh is in great shape too, and he just turned 48.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

I have heard some success stories—some on this board (one woman was 48) and some in my life (two friends of friends, one 47 and one 46). It happens.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
I am 43 and 9 weeks along. There will be 10 yrs between my dd and this baby.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Hi, I'm soon to be 45 and my youngest son, Cole, turned one year-old on April 10th. Both of my "late in life" pregnancies happened naturally. They were both also very uneventful and as a matter of fact my son was delivered at home by his father, which is almost unheard of seeing I was considered a "high risk" pregnancy because of my age????

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
In 1925 my grandmother had my father when she was 45 yo. He was her 12th (She'd given birth to a child every 2 or 3 years so my aunt was born when grandma was in her 40s...possibly 42 yo)
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

I am 47 and gave birth a little more that 2 years ago. I am still nursing (just at bedtime) and feel absolutely no signs of perimenopause.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
One of my grandmothers Was 48 when she had my Aunt, who is one month older then I. She also had at least 2 other children in her 40's with no help. I'm holding on to this as increasing my chances. Good Genes and all. Especially since my other grandmothers sister gave birth at 43 (suprise baby) after they told her over 13 years before that she would never have a second child.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

This morning in a play group I met a woman with triplets through IVF. She said that there is a 49 year old with twins in her multiples group who got pregnant naturally at 49! Also, a friend of mine worked as a nanny a couple of years ago for a woman who had twins at 50! She told my friend that noone believes she used her own eggs, but she got pregnant completely naturally. She said it must have been her very last good egg.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
A 52-year-old who became a grandmother last year has given birth to triplets, baffling doctors in Naples who say the likelihood of such a case is "one in a billion". Gabriele, Alessio and Nunzia were born several weeks early and were reported to be in good condition despite weighing
just 1,7kg, 1,5kg and 1,1kg respectively. The woman insists she did not undergo any fertility treatment, but doctors remained unconvinced. Mamma Mellone said her family had a history of "mature" pregnancies, with a cousin giving birth to her fourth child at the age of 51.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

I have four children, DD(17), DD(16), DS(12) and DD(21 months). My daughter was conceived naturally at age 44 and I was 45 when I gave birth to her. It was a long time to conceive her as you can see from the age difference.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
After several months of trying to convince my husband, he reluctantly agreed to not use birth control. That was about a year ago. I think we both believed that I wouldn't conceive again especially at 47. I know I still have a lot of hurdles to overcome with this pregnancy. The hardest one already has been becoming pregnant.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

I used to be on the TTC board, but we gave up a year ago and decided we were completely content with our 11-year old DS. Well, lo and behold, last Friday I got 2 positive HPTs. I only took the tests after my husband asked if I could possibly be pg.....I told him I couldn't be, but I would do the test anyway. Needless to say, I've been in a fog since then, because I had completely put this out of my mind and these results have thrown me for a loop. Yesterday was my first doc visit and all is well. I will be 44 when the baby is born!

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
When I got pregnant naturally last June at 44.5 the Fertility Clinic staff was shocked because I wasn't fitting in their stats... and when it happened again in Spetember they couldn't believe me and thought I was menopausal because I had missed my period! I wish western medicine could be more intuitive. Biology can't always be confirmed by numbers!
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

My grandmother had two dear friends who had babies at 49, long after their other children were born. This was in small town Saskatchewan in the early 60's, these pregnancies were unplanned,and both women were apparently quite embarrassed about it!! They each had healthy girls, a couple of years older than me, while their much older siblings are friends of my parents.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
My Grandmother had my uncle at 46- naturally- the condom broke- with her second husband who wanted her to have another baby after my uncle was born . She choose not to have any more by using protection. Hope this isn't TMI- My mil has her 11th at 44. She didn't have anymore because
she went into menopause at 46.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

I now have two beautiful babies..a boy who is 2.5 years old and a little girl who is nine months old. I had my son when I was 44 yrs. old and my daughter when I was 46! I overcame a lot of bad news from doctors, who most of them told me I was too old and I should use an egg donor. That
wouldn't have worked because I kept losing my babies...I had 7 miscarriages.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
A woman age 47 whose menses stopped 2 years prior & was on HRT. She had no symptoms of PG, at a Drs appt. found out she was 6 months PG. She and her husband had no genic testing as they found this to be a truly miraculous event gave birth to a healthy 5lb 6oz girl. Full term and it was
their first child and first PG, they were told they would never have children. She gave birth vaginally too which her OB said defied all odds. In fact her OB said her whole story defied odds, she said this birth made her month!
A couple in our parish had been married 22 years and ttc for 22 years. Shortly after their 22nd wedding anniversary, she found out she was pregnant for the first time. She was 45 years old.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

I do have one friend who claims to have had IVF success with her own eggs at 48!!! I love her but honestly don't believe her . But if it's true, it only happened after many, MANY tries.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
I personally know one close friend and one acquaintance who got pregnant with IVF at 43 and delivered a beautiful baby girl at 44. I know for my friend that she got pregnant on the first try.Her baby is now about 5 months old and she is gearing up to try again at 44. The other
acquaintance also got pregnant at 43 with IVF. I don't know as much about her story, but, from what I understand, she also got pregnant on the first try with IVF. There's also a story on about.com about a woman who got pregnant through IVF at 44. Here's the link.
A girlfriend of mine had had 2 horrible mcs (one was at 5 mos and she nearly bled to death)and then after seeing an acupuncturist and taking herbs she got prg and gave birth at 43! She has a beautiful healthy daughter and it was all natural! Another aquaintance of mine had her 2 children naturally at 46 and 48! No help at all.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Laurel's former babysitter had an "oops" baby at 43. A former secretary at my office, after YEARS of trying and making it a good part of the way through menopause (early menopause runs in her family), had an "oops" baby at ~44.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
This will not be my last one! I will be 44 within days of her birth. Dh and I plan to try again right after little Avery is born...and maybe, we will try again after that.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

I just saw a post below where a lady had her 1st baby at 44 w/ ivf and is now pregnant at 45 with her second ivf baby. So it DOES happen.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
Go to the PG>40 board I just checked in there and there are a number of women 43 & 44 years old who are having healthy PG. Some I read w/ high FSH levels and IUI or IVF.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

I am a frequent lurker, will be 46 in June, and just got a bfp yesterday! I am in complete shock.
Here's my saga...Ds1 born in l981, Ds2 born in l984. Dh was 40 and insisted he was too old to have any more children, so he got a vasectomy. By l993, I had convinced him to have it reversed, but we did not get pg. Gave up, 4 years later, surprise! Ds3 born in l998 (dh was 53, certainly not too old LOL). Tried and tried since September l999 to get pg again, clomid, ici, herbs, monitor, etc. Gave up again. Was late and crampy yesterday with no usual pre af cm, so tested and it was positive! Dh will be almost 60 when this one is (prayerfully) born.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
With pemission of my good friend, I would like to announce that she is expecting at 46 and will be 47 when this little blessing is born. She is a mother of many already with her last baby born at 42. She concieved naturally only using an OPK to confirm when she thought she was ovulating.
No special vitamins, herbs, meds. Nothing but a good time. Her husband is 51 and she is hoping to surprise him with the news on St. Patricks Day being as they are both from Ireland!
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

When I was expecting my 4 y.o. there was a 47 y/o going to the same peri that I was. Her story: married 25 years and in all that time never got pregnant, assumed infertility, one day ... bang, out of the blue turns up pregnant. Total shock to her and her husband. She delivered at 36 weeks, and although the pregnancy was bedrested due to placenta
previa, mother and baby were just fine.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
I turned 47 last October and to find out after new year's I was pregnant was a shock to my husband and I. I have had 5 healthy children 31,30,26,20 and 15 years old ( 4 girls & 1 boy) I got remarried just last year to a man who as never had children because of his busy lifestyle. First it was abit of a shock to him, for one he had a benign tumour in one of his testes and was told couple of years ago his sperm count was low ( coughs) he then went through a second stage of 'okay it is our responsibility' rolls eyes .. to now been so excited to be a dad on Sept 1 for the first time.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

You can add me to the list. I had my last 3 at 40,42, and 44.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
My DBs mom had her last child at 43--two weeks short of 44. And my best friend's mom had her at 45.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

A msg from someone else who ALSO got pg at almost 46 and was also in shock and in disbelief! YES it CAN and DOES happen!!

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
My friend was told by her DR yesterday that he just delivered a 48yo's woman's healthy baby.
Apparently, she didn't realize she was pg. She was not trying. She went to the DR thinking her period had ceased due to menopause. She was shocked to learn that she was 5 months pg. I do not know if it was her 1st.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Still in shock over my BFP at 45!

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
While I was pg, at least 5 people told me they had a child at 46 (which is how old I will be when my baby would have been born), or was a child of someone who was 46 when they were born. And that's just 5 people in my little sphere of acquaintances.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Whoa! I’m 45 and I just got a prescription for prenatal vitamins. When I first learned I was pregnant, I felt like it must be a huge mistake. Even the Doctor’s office didn’t quite believe me—they did a second test “just to be sure”. I left their office with booklets on baby development and a due date some time after my 46th birthday.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
I volunteer at a crisis pregnancy center and I don't know if anyone is aware of this, but the largest percentage of abortions are done on women under 18 and over 40. Which would lead me to believe that the numbers of women who get pg over 40 are innacurate.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

My dr said he had many patients that were over 45 and some in their 50's that got pregnant on their own... so it does happen.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
"Babies, special delivery". Is showed a 47 y/o woman who was infertile all her life. She had just accepted the fact that she'd never have children. She was on HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) for menopausal symptoms and had not had a period in over 2 years. She went into the Dr. with abdominal distension and was found to be SIX MONTHS PREGNANT!! Gave birth naturally to a healthy, NORMAL, beautiful baby girl. It was the most emotional thing I've ever seen. Her and her husband were just soooo happy.
50 yr old woman in Serbia prg with ivf using her own eggs
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Contrary to current opinion, having children in your forties is ordinary and common worldwide.
The Bible mentions several women having children in their fifties. What is unusual and unique to our time is having a first child in one's forties. Our mother's, mother's, mothers were having their fifth or eighth or tenth child when they were in their forties, not their first. If people tell you it just isn't done, close your eyes and call upon the spirit of your great-great-great-great grandmother, then smile and tell them it seems utterly ordinary to you

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
Hi, yes at 46 yrs- my 1st from natural pg!, here is my history.
http://www.network54.com/Forum/message?forumid=264844&messageid=1114466298
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

I was 44 when I m/c the first time at 8 weeks with no heartbeat and had a D&C. I did get pregnant almost 2 years later and now have a 3y/o. As for increasing chances of pregnancy.... well, I can't really answer that but I do know that the fact that you got pregnant at 45 is a good sign that you CAN get pregnant and may do so again!!!

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
FYI~ I've had my last two at 41 and 43 with two more pregnancies at 44 (w/ losses) My mom had her 10th child at 44. I know of three ladies at 47, 48 and 49 who have had healthy babies-they weren't even trying!
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

And I'll add to the list. My FIL's friend's wife had given birth to two children when she was in her fifities. One at 51 and the other at 53.
This happened 30+ years ago, and both were conceived naturally. One of my sister's had her fourth at 43, which sounds young after reading your list. And an aunt had my cousin at 45

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
My grandmother had her last 3 children after she turned 40. And, she of course wasn't "helped" by any fertility treatments, I don't even think those were available back then.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

my friend of 44 with one ovary and 12 failed cycles of IVF fell pregnant after being diagnosed as infertile:

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
after many m/c we FINALLY concieved our son when I was just shy of my 46th birthday... so you see, I had not only age but also multiple m/c as challenges.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

We went to Paris and about 3 weeks after we got back we found out I was pregnant. I was 44 years old and had a nearly perfect pregnancy and at 40 weeks had c-section (baby never dropped) and came home with a beautiful baby girl who is now 18 months.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
Just found out today that a friend of mine from high school is pregnant with her first at age 42.
She is 13 weeks. Naturally with no help. Also her mother was 46 when she had her.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

My friend's mother had her when she was 44.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
also i am still nursing my son, who turned 2 in may. not many 49 yr old women can say that!
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

(After several miscarriages between 44-46) my husband and i (46y) had decided not to continue trying for another child, so imagine our surprise when i conceived only 2 weeks later. this time around i did take a baby aspirin daily...also i used progesterone suppositories twice/day. i had a very uneventful pregnancy and my son, beckett, was born perfect weighing 9#2oz.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
hang in there! pregnant at 40, 43 & 46. We did have 3 early losses between our last two babies, and it took a bit longer to conceive baby #3...but they are perfect and wonderful!
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Oh, and I have a lot of women in my family who had babies until 50!

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
To answer your question-- my boss had her second and third child naturally at age 43 and 46.
She's Catholic and has never used birth control. As far as I know, she doesn't exercise or have a special diet.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Also another woman who is a friend of a friend got pregnant naturally at 45 and is just about to give birth.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
My aunt had my cousin when she was 48 years old he is perfectly healthy.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

In the 1800s conception was much more common in women in their 40s and 50s.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
I keep hearing stories about people whose mother's had them at 50, or their aunt had their cousin at 48, or their grandmother had several children after 40, etc.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

I'm not pregnant or over 40, but I lurk here sometimes because my mom is pregnant at 47!

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
my best friends mother in law got pregnant at 53 naturally..had no test taken during the pregnancy , and had a beautiful healthy baby girl
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

By the way, I am currently seeing a naturapath who treated a woman who was 53 and she got pregnant with her own eggs and no other help aside from herbs, supplements and homeopathy.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
When my mom was born in 1939, her mom (my grandmother) was 48 1/2. It was her first child! My grandfather was 58.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

FF - I said, "What is the oldest patient you have had who has gotten pg w/ no medical intervention?" He thought about it, and said "Well, for the first baby, 43. But if they had prior pregnancies, well, some just keep going and going, the sky's the limit!"

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
Anyway, I'll be 46 this month....I am at 13 weeks.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

In October, 2 months shy of my 48th birthday, I got pregnant. Surprise, surprise! (DELIGHTFUL surprise!)

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
Once in a while, I’ll hear of someone who knew someone who had a baby at 48+, but I’ve never actually met one or talked with one.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

My grandmother gave birth at 46 in 1936. Friends of my Mom had kids at 48 & 52 in the 1960s/70s.
You know there were no DEs then.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
i gave birth to twin boys on august 23, 2004 at the age of 46 years and 8 months. never listen to anyone who says you are too old to have children. i had a completely uneventful pregnancy and delivered the boys by c-section at 38 weeks weighing in at 6lbs.9ozs. and 7lbs. i also have a daughter who is 29 months. although i'm exhausted the boys are healthy and doing great.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

I'am Lily and I'am a very old mommy. I just turned 55 last month Sad and have a 3 year old little girl, I also have one older daughter that is 25 and had her 1st baby, making me a Grandma.
My husband is 56 and it is really hard having a baby so late in life, we were ready to just be grand parents and live out our life on the beach but by some miracle I became pregnant. My OBGYN were very concerend because of my age and I went through sooo many tests but I knew I was in a high risk because I was 52 at the time.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
I gave birth to my son and only child at 44.5 years. I had never really wanted children or planned to have any. Then Gabriel came along - I didn't even know I was pregnant until I was in my 17th week. My entire life was turned upside down, but in a good way. My husband and I would like to try for another one (I'll be 46 in September). I agree with what Tricia wrote - don't let "them" tell you you're too old, can't have children, etc.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

I'm now 45 - will be 46 in September. My son Gabriel will be a year old on March 25th. (The pregnancy went fine.) My husband wants to have another child. I was 41 when Katie's twin brothers were born and 44 when Katie arrived,

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
At the ripe old age of 46 I am, happily, almost eight months pregnant with my second child.
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

Lisa Nilan understands thatall too well. The 45-year-old Watertown resident gave birth to twins - Marisa and Michael - on Jan. 21 after 11 attempts at in vitro fertilization.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
Diane, who also didn't want her last named used, came to Dr. Wu in 1998 at age 45. The Marin County woman had a daughter who died at the age of 16 months in 1993. For the next five years, she said, she and her husband spent more than $50,000 and suffered seven miscarriages trying to conceive another child. "I tried all the high-tech routes. We tried everything," said Diane, now 48."I came to her in desperation." Six months later, Diane was pregnant with her daughter, now a year and a half old. "I'm so thankful and so lucky every day to have this child," she said. "It's beyond words."
44 y/o mother of five in a newer marriage. Have had two miscarraiges since turning 40. Natalie Elizabeth born 27April02! I am pregnant with Olivia at 44! Due 22Aug04!
~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~

I'm Cheri. I met my soulmate late in life. I was 41. He's a great guy who I was waiting for all my life. I had my first child which was a m/c at 42. I had a healthy girl on 11/25/03, at 44.

OBJECTIVE: To determine outcomes of pregnancies in women at least 44 years of age and to determine factors predicting cesarean delivery in these patients. METHODS: Between January 1988 and December 1995, 109 women at least 44 years old delivered in our medical center.

~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~@~~~
Cheryl Tiegs has said in interviews that she used her own eggs and a surrogate at 52. But studies have found that just 0.2 percent of women at that age, supermodel or not, can produce viable eggs.
Hello,
I'm 34 and will be ttc soon. Someone linked your post on the Over 35 TTC board.
I wanted to let you know that 33 years ago, my grandma had her 10th healthy child on her 44th birthday with no medical intervention!
Good luck to all.
What an amazingly uplifting compilation! I hadn't gotten to this message before I posted mine on "Defying the Statistics!" So there we have it, ladies -- proof of the pudding!!! I especially love the one about women in the "old countries" having kids into their 50s! Well, there is a reason why there is a population explosion going on in most parts of the world excepting the so-called First World Countries where I do think that women are brainwashed into thinking that after an age specified by the medical profession having a healthy pregnancy is an impossibility. The mind/body connection is a powerful thing and it can be either a tool or a deterrant depending on how much faith you have in your own body's capabilities versus the preaching of the medical people and others.
Thank you for this wonderful posting. I would print it out, except my husband would probably flip out!
Sharing the stats on my 'pregnancies over 44y' list
I have been compiling a growing list of stories about women who have been pregnant over 44y. It is now 65 pages long of stories in MSword. A link to read it online can be found in my signature below.
At last count I have stories of 555 women who were pregnant over 44y, and of them, 101 were over 50y old!
This is a pretty impressive list - since the vast majority are natural conceptions!! Plus many were first time mothers!!
Age - no. of women pregnant
44y.....96
45y.....110
46y.....120
47y.....61
48y.....43
49y.....24
50y.....41
51y.....17
52y.....17
53y.....7
54y.....5
55y.....4
56y.....3
57y.....6
58y.....1
Twins & triplets were prevelant in the over 45y stories
- 29 sets of twin or triplets:
Age - no. of babies
45y - 3 sets of twins, 1 set of triplets
46y - 5 sets of twins
47y - 4 sets of twins
48y - 2 sets of twins
49y - 1 set of twins, 1 set of triplets
50y - 5 sets of twins
52y - 2 sets of twins, 1 set of triplets
53y - 1 set of twins
54y - 1 set of triplets
56y - 1 set of twins
57y - 4 sets of twins
NOTE: I didn't include the women in the studies or those whose stories were vague about the ages.
Dear Witch Power: This is incredible and wonderful! You should publish these testimonials. There are so many of us out here who would love to have a copy of this in book form. And what a great testament to the power of Mother Nature all these experiences are! Pooh to the scientists and statisticians!
With admiration and gratitude!
As I'm writing this , I'm crying cos the clinic just called me minutes ago to tell me my egg collection/fertilization yesterday produced an abnormal embryo. My DH is away to do the shopping so Im alone crying. I decided to read through the message board as I find it very consolling.
Then I saw your thoughtful message.
Thanks very much for caring for others.
I am 44yrs old. Have two children aged 22 and 21yrs from a previous marriage. Current DH is 36 and the best any can ask for.
I find it difficult thinking about donor egg.
After reading your message, I believe I'll try again. I've had an unsuccessful three cycle package of ivf, all without transfers.
Is there any thing to do to improve the quality of eggs?
Regards
hi all,,,,i am confused,,,june 12 th i had a normal period, my hubby and i have been very active since april this year,, see we were not active for 3 yrs due to the loss of my daughter 3 yrs ago...in july i got a spooty period so i went to the doc and did blood test which came up as a no. this month i also had only a spotty one as well,,,i am lookin as if i am about 3 months pregnant, have nausea, mild crampyness, tired, eatin like crazy, feeling little nudges in my uterine area, slight pressure in the pelvic area,now when i say i had spooty period for 2 months i mean not enough to fill a pad at all. and it only lasted for 3 days in june and 2 days in july....and in aug i had it for two days again with the spotting,, right now i am still spotty but it seems to only happening when i get upset, but as i sit here i am feeling these little muscle spasms in my lower belly.....is this a pregnancy or am i nuts,,, am afraid to do any more test cause they r only gonna come out neg,,,i have read alot in these forums that many women were pregnant and didnt get a positive til 5 months along,,, i think i will go nuts by then,,,can it be because of the spottyness that i dont show hcg levels and i cant get a positive on a urine test.
I just found this web site and all I can say Witch Power is thank you, thank you, thank you for your research and posting. I am 45, have one child I conceived on the eve of my 42nd birthday but lost three pregnancies between the time my son was 9 months old and last December. I try to be positive and constantly guard against letting "them" and their "experts opinions" seep into my soul but it can be difficult. Each month when I get my period I feel like they have "won." Does anyone find it rather ironic that the medical establishment issues "warnings" and "statistics" and talk of "reality" while simultaneously lining us up for 10, 20, 30,000 dollars and more worth of fertility treatments to get us pregnant. I'm not here to man bash but it seems to me some men (i.e. the medical experts in the fertility field) have finally found a way to get their hands into procreation! Heaven forbid that they should say "you are all the power you need." I know there are times that intervention can be helpful and I'm not here to judge anyone their road to a healthy, happy pregnancy. I just find it infuriating that the medical community simply dismisses women and their bodies based on their age! But I digress when mostly I wanted to say thank you Witch Power for the information and everyone, HOLD ONTO YOUR FERTILITY! We are not numbers; our fertility is not a statistic!!
