(x-post from TTCAM)

Hi ladies!

I have a question regarding ovulation "pain". since I started charting earlier this year, I have gotten better acquainted with my body, but still get confused about "signs" and "signals" it might be sending me! Today I experienced some minor pain/cramping in my abdominal area; primarily where I suppose my ovaries are (both sides). I can't remember if I've had this before; at least not this noticeable. The thing is, I don't expect to ovulate til later next week. This is my 1st cycle after a D&C (8/21) and I had a brief AF (2 days of light), so there is a chance that my system is still out of whack! Before m/c, I had regular 28 day cycles (o'ing around day 15). I did an OPK this evening and got a negative.

Any thoughts????

Alex,

I'm like Susan sometimes I get 'O' pains a week b/4, and other times not at all.

I know Lynda, I assumed it was not a great sign to lose the o cramping on the clomid.

Wish I could be of help, Dee, but I'm clueless. This is my first month TTC, and I'm so confused between my body's signals and the fertility friend prediction that I have no idea what the deal is.

Best of luck to you, and I'm sorry about your recent m/c.

Hi Alex, I don't normally get O pain, so I don't have much to say in regard to that. Although I am currently in a fair amount of pain, right in that area on both sides, and even though I am right at ovulation I don't think that is it, because as I type this I just realized that the pain IS on both sides and I only have one ovary! Lol! I had only been having regular cycles for about a year (until that time I NEVER had a regular cycle) when I had my D&C, and it messed up my system for a year, only straightened out after I went on clomid. Hopefully since you had regular cycles before that you will recover much more quickly than I did.
