Prayers Please?

Hi There,
I could use some prayers, please. I am very blessed to have my first baby Alexander Jonathan who was 3 months old on February 2nd. I am now ready to start TTC again, however DH is refusing for now. Since I had the baby, he uses withdrawal method every time we have sex. Since I decided I don't like that method, we really are not having sex right now at all. DH is worried about finances since I am not working and he has large child support for his two daughters.
I would like to start trying right away so if we are able to conceive, the kids will be close in age. Also, I am 42 and a half and sooner is better than later, obviously.
Anyway, would appreciate any prayers on this issue for me...

Hi Laurie,
Thanks for the support. Yes, I think it's too soon for counseling, we have not been discussing it that long really. I think he just wants me to say I will go out and make a lot of money if we have another child which is kind of against my nature (I prefer to work less and be with the kids more). Why have kids if they are in daycare all the time or you are too stressed out to be a good parent?
By the way, congrats on your BFP! How did you do it if you want to share?

Hi Lisa,
Sorry you & dh are not on the same page right now. I know it's easier said than done, but give him a bit of time, men automatically go into a survival mode when talking about ttc asking themselves how are they going to support the family especially in your dh case if he already has a large child support to pay.
I know my husband worries about the same and it only adds to stress on the relationship- especially in the ttc dept. I surely can relate to that.
I pray that things work out for you both and you can communicate openly about ttc and put eachother at ease.
