As you know I started follistim for the first time on Friday.

About me: A pixie in the city, 41, TTC#1 since May 2010, married 18 years.


Diagnosed with/surgically removed endometrioma Aug 2010. Sept IUI #1=BFN. Nov IUI #2=BFN. Uterine polyp removed Jan. 2011. Jan 2011 IVF cancelled. No response. 2nd

Boy that is fast growth for CD5 or 6 but if you trigger it won't matter.

Oh, that's exciting. Those sound nice and plump to me, but not too big I don't think. Good luck!

It's ok -- they want them to 20-22 before they trigger. You don't want to go too fast because a slower cycle usually means eggs have a little

Pix, I agree with Krista that it is great that you have two that are about the same size right now so that you have a better chance of catching one of them.

That sounds great to me! I would check about building up his supply though, I think that it is usually best to have a fairly fresh supply, like two days. I would personally go ahead and BD tonight to cover the bases on that end (in case you trigger early) and then not again before the IUI on Thursday. If you want to check with your dr that might be a good idea, but that would be my inclination. However, I haven't done an IUI before, that is just what I have heard in regard to semen quality.

I've heard/read the same as Michelle. You don't want abstinence of several days, just a couple days.
