Pretty sure I missed my window.

I was so caught up in Fertility Friend's projected fertility window that I ignored the most important signs of my fertile days: EWCM being one of them. DAMN! I'm so mad!

I know it's a learning process, but I'm used to hitting the ball out of the park on the first throw; so it's hard for me to accept that I missed the not-so-subtle signs. Sometimes I can be a little thick!

I've had two days of temp spike, so I'm certain (even though it takes 3 consecutive days to confirm) that I've ovulated.

Well, maybe we hit the mark -- maybe we didn't. I'm thinking we didn't because I was being conservative with BDing to keep DH's sperm count/volume high with an every-other-day BD. Oh well. We'll see.

Nothing I can do about it now but wait until next cycle (hoping there isn't one!).

I'm sure you hit it if you were doing every other day BD. Sperm can live up to 5 days, at least 3. And the best time for conception, is O -2 days anyway.

I'm sorry you think you might've missed your peak time. =(

Did you have any BDs close to your O time? If you were having EWCM and you guys had BD'd, chances would be good that those swimmers can hang on for a couple days while waiting for your egg. And, it only takes one - or so I've heard. ;) Anyway, when I got preg. w/ my DD, we were ahead of the game b/c I was expecting to O on one day, and instead I think it happened later, so our early BD session was the winning one - just that one time!

And, that was the cycle that I didn't bother w/ OPKs (frustrating, aren't they?) b/c we were staying w/ family and it's hard to do those things discreetly w/ 10 other people around almost all the time. So, I definitely follow my physical signs and temps vs. getting a +OPK, b/c those buggers are never consistent enough for me.

GL! =)

Relax, if you were BD every other day you are likely fine. Besides, what is done is done, no use fretting about it and you will know more for next time, which hopefully won't happen anyway! Even if you did miss it, or if it didn't work, just think of the fun ahead for next month! ;-)

Boy, you're not kidding about all the {ahem} fun involved. We've been swinging from the chandelier more in the past month than we have in a while. It's funny as hell trying to keep quiet with a 15 yr old -- who has bat-like hearing -- just down the hall! LOL

Time to chill now and enjoy each other.

Glad I"m not alone with the teenager-with-sonar problem!

According to my temp spike, I O'd on Day 12. If that's the case, then we have a good chance. 8-) WOO HOO!

FF says my timing was "good", not "high" but good. I'll take it! Oh PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BFP in October! It would be such a glorious thing!!

If not, I definitely have a better understanding of my body now, which is a very good thing. 8-)

I'm so grateful I found you guys. You're so helpful, and it's great knowing I'm not alone in this quest.

Melissa,

It can be awkward with a teenager in such close proximity!

Definitely not alone, our 14 yr old is the same way! Fortunately he sleeps very soundly; unfortunately he stays up late! Lol!
