Q re timing between Pos OPK and CM

Ok so my ovulation window should be between Thurs and this coming Monday.
Creamy, stretchy, CM yesterday (lots). What appears to be a mild amount of watery CM today (could be seminal fluid). Negative OPKs yesterday and today.

So I have two questions. My CM appears to be following an expected pattern.

Is there any expected pattern where I typically would see an LSH surge? I mean would that be on a watery CM day typically? Or on an EWCM day? Or should I have seen the surge already and maybe missed it in testing? (I tested early afternoon yesterday).

Second, does anyone routinely test twice a day? Morning and late morning or something? I guess I am really concerned about missing the surge. I typically have CM every cycle even when I am positive I didn't ovulate, so I am not that confident in it as a predictor for me.

Part of me is thinking 5 years after my last successful conception might mean that 50mg might not be enough for me anymore, or that now that I know about it I should have asked for Femara.

I know this is only my first Clomid cycle and am probably obsessing unnecessarily....I am going to buy a BBT this afternoon.

So my CM is completely gone - was gone by midday yesterday. I either didn't ovulate on the 50mg or I did but missed the surge in testing. I really wish I had been doing BBT monitoring.

I guess I am officially in the 2WW now.

Ideally, you should have ewcm for several days (especially when one is younger). Those are all considered fertile days as they are leading up to ovulation and that CM is designed to take the swimmers to the egg. If you have ewcm, start bding. Don't waste it! But it could be a few days or more b4 you see your lh surge.

As for testing, "they" say you are supposed to test as close to 2:00 as possible. But anytime b/w 10am &
