and to jump in here...the nurse's comment just means they want to see you at a certain point and not 3days post op because that won't tell them what they want to know. They likely see people anywhere from 5-10 days post op depending on what the surgery was.

pix! ((((HUGS))))
Hope it is over fast. I am at the top of the fear-factor population, and get very wigged out by this stuff too. Have you ever taken xanax? I wonder if you can take it in the days leading up to the procedure just to feel calm and not afraid. I take it from time to time and it does wonders for panic.

But listen to the others that have had these types of procedures done--3 hours later and shopping sounds pretty darn good to me. :)

Thinking of you!! xoxo

Pix, I mean could you take Xanax from now up until the time you have to stop eating/drinking? Then you won't be so tortured this week. And then of course they will give you something for the procedure. You may have a much easier week that way. And since you aren't TTC in the next couple weeks, it shouldn't be a prob to have a bit in your system. :)

Oh HUGS there is nothing worse than that nagging anxiety, I know. Just keep reminding yourself that you can and will get through it, and when you feel freake dout, stop and BREATHE. My ACU keeps telling me that and it does help. xoxo
