Barbara, sorry your cycle seems a little weird but at least you took advantage of the EWCM and BD'd. Hoping those are good signs and not AF approaching. My last pregnancy ( even though it was a m/c) the only symptom I had was sharp stinging pain in my left boob. Nothing on the right. FX for you! I can't wait to hear all about your wedding. 2 1/2 weeks isn't very long to wait!

Nina, keeping FX that O was a little later and that you get that BFP!
Who else is here waiting? Any symptoms that seem promising? Wishing everyone a sticky, healthy BFP this cycle!

Nina,
Did you ovulate later than usual? I don't recall if you temp but one way to tell what day (and if) you ovulated each month is to take your BBT temp everyday. That will tell you what day you O and also how long your usual LP is. So say you normally O on CD11 and your usual LP is 13 days long that would mean your AF always starts 13 days after your O. But say instead you O'd this time on CD14 then your LP was 13, that would make your AF day begin on CD27 (13 days past your O date). When I started temping I realized that my O day and my LP shifted each month. I know we always pay attention to how long your cycle lasts but it's really more tied to the day you O and how long your LH lasts. For me I had to sort of guess since they shifted.
So, it's still possible that you are pg but you may not have enough HCG in your system for a test to detect it. Try again after waiting a few more days for AF. Also, Annemarie is right. I had the same thing happen to me, a very long cycle, 50 days, due to peri-menopause, which can last a 1-5 years maybe longer. It isn't uncommon for your cycles to begin throwing you off a lot more in your 40's. Just remember though, as long as you are still having periods and O'ing, you can still get pg. KMFX'd for you that this is your BFP...

That happened to me a few months ago. My OB/GYN told me to wait a week then test again. In my case, the BFN was correct. I was having a perimenopause cycle that was longer than normal.

Your post sounds like many I have written. We are all keeping our FX that you get those blazing 2 lines tomorrow. I so wish pregnancy symptoms were nothing like PMS- I wouldn't care if my toes turned purple and I had big green dots on my arms and legs as long as they were signs of pregnancy Hoping AF stays away, hang in there...

Michele- Glad to see you back! I'm hoping you get that BOB ( too cute by the way) to keep AF away.
Nina- have you tested? FX for you!
