Okay, Ladies--have you felt you may be pregnant--had irregular/one-day periods, "jello-like" breasts, bloating? My HCG blood test came back NG this week. I was informed today I "skipped an ovulation" I've never heard of this--any one else with feedback? Obviously not pg, but was kind of getting excited at my ripe 'ole age. Thanks, and please respond!!

Hi

Apparently,it is possible to not ovulate during a cycle, and even still get AF. 2 cycles ago, I had a nonmedicated cycle that the RE believes I didn't ovulate. When they did the U/S on cd3 of the next cycle, they found I had a cyst, that was probably the follicle that never released. It disappeared on it's own.

hope this info is helpful

I was told the same thing and they also found a cyst.

Thank you. A cyst was not mentioned in any of the phone conversations, but I will find out next week when I have my "belated" yearly. I'm glad to know your cyst dissipated on its own. Thanks again.

Hi, me again. When I went to my GYN March 22 he explained in detail the skipped ovulation process. He also mentioned I may be in a peri-menopause stage. He said everything looked and felt normal. No mention of an ultrasound--should I have requested one? My last AF was March 11 so I don't know if she'll show up this month or not. I am getting "surprised" looks from co-workers and family. I read about those who have a condition when they think they're pg but they're not--I am not imagining indigestion last week and clear liquid from my nipples occasionally. I mentioned the latter when I had my mammogram March 26 and the tech mentioned sometimes there is a secretion, but it's nothing to worry about. What would you do, or suggest? I responded to you since I see you're on the board a lot. Take care, and may you and your family have a blessed Easter!

Sounds like your doctor is explaining things to you.

I'am 44 years old and had a TL reversed Feb. 5th.I have not had a period since, except 2 days of light spotting last month.I guess I'am not ovuating, for the first time in my life. I have 7 older children(ages 25-7 years old) and have never had any problem before at getting PG.I'am so bloated, breasts tender, nausea. I took a PG test today and two days a go, and both were negative. Has anyone ever gone through anything like this?I have had my FSH tested to determine if I'am premenapasal and the no. was very low(2), which is very good and encouraging! I don't know what is going on.

No, they did not check my estrogen. But if I haven't started my af by Monday, I will go in and see what he has to say.

Thanks for your response,

Hi. Did you go to the doctor this past Monday? I'm anxious to hear your results. I had AF this past week, but still feel very "bloated" and my breasts have increased in size--no, I am not imagining this! (also when penetrated, my nipples produce a clear liquid). My clothes are tight and I feel miserable in many ways. The doctor said I have peri-menopause symptoms, which these are listed on the website. What are your comments about this? Should I have the blood test done to determine if I AM in peri-menopause? Thanks, and I hope you get the results you want.
