So I did ovulate late on Clomid

Cycle day 21 according to FF, based on this morning's temp reading.

I am sure we missed it; I had even stopped OPKing for this cycle on CD19. I should have listened to you guys more about a pre-o dip. It sure looks like maybe that's what it was.

Oh well, now I know this is how Clomid is affecting me now. I'm thinking about adding Robitussion to my regimen to help with the CM. If next cycle is like this one, I was pretty dry by the time I needing to be DTD.

I was on the day 5-9 protocol. If I changed to 3-7, do you all think that would make a difference in bringing my ovulation date closer into the normal range?

Bridget, both my RE's have used cycle day 3-7 for clomid. Are you being monitored?

No, I am not :(

I'm only seeing an OBGYN, not an RE, and I only had the one appt so far where he gave me the Clomid prescription (I asked for it), and ordered the lab work for the 3day FSH and estradiol. He is not even my regular OB. I mean, he delivered my first born

I took clomid 5-9 and then thought the same thing, I'd try 3-7 on my own and I'd o earlier.

The problem with not being monitored is that you will have no idea how you respond to clomid...a mid-cycle US will tell a doctor whether or not you have any response to the drug. Is it giving you enough follies, are they big enough, has it affected your lining (it thins many womens lining), etc., It's not always the best choice for someone but for sure it should be monitored if at all possible to help determine that. It's also helpful

I just took my first clomid regimen, CD5-9. My OB is having me come in to see him on Aug. 30th, which is CD24, he will have b/w drawn so he can check my progesterone level, then I will go in on Mon. and have b/w again.
