So I did ovulate late on Clomid

Cycle day 21 according to FF, based on this morning's temp reading.

I am sure we missed it; I had even stopped OPKing for this cycle on CD19. I should have listened to you guys more about a pre-o dip. It sure looks like maybe that's what it was.

Oh well, now I know this is how Clomid is affecting me now. I'm thinking about adding Robitussion to my regimen to help with the CM. If next cycle is like this one, I was pretty dry by the time I needing to be DTD.

Wow that is a late O! Do you usually O that late or is the clomid causing it? I am going to use OPK's for the first time starting tomorrow. I suspect I O around CD14 give or take a day, my cycle length is around 27-29 days.

I have PCOS and have never gotten a positive OPK naturally; always under meds. So I don't really have a normal cycle to speak of. My current average cycle is around 38 days, but that's only based on four periods, prior to that I went without menstruating for something like 150 days.

So Susan do you have regular cycles? I am going to use the OPK's until I start AF now! I have normal 28 day cycles, and usually always see O signs mostly by

Later O is not a bad thing...it actually gives the egg and your lining more time to mature. If you O at day 12, moving to 14 or 15 is actually better...if of course, you know and don't miss the BD window. I read this in the Infertility Cure and my TCM practitioner also told me this ...for what it's worth.

Of course, I am not suggesting that Oing on day 27 is a good thing...and clomid won't necessarily make you O late.

Oh, should have told you, don't know when you finished your last clomid pill but it can give you false +'s on your OPK's the first few days after your last pill.
