Dear Rosario,

I would suggest asking for more tests to be done. I've learned recently that there are three main tests to determine ovarian reserve -- FSH levels (on day 3), AMH levels (any time during cycles) and Antral Follicle count. If you do 2 of these tests and then find out that your ovaries are fine, then you might want to stick with your plan, or move to IVF. If, however, you find out that you have diminished ovarian reserve, then time is ticking and you might want to really pursue IVF. If all of these numbers are low, then you really might want to think about donor eggs. I say the more information you have, the more an informed decision you can make.

hope that helped,
martha

Thanks Kristi,

Yes, I lose hope, then get it back, and so goes the rollercoaster! But today I'm looking forward to this cycle and see it as a new opportunity. I just had my blood drawn for FSH and Estradiol and will find out the results in a couple of days. Still, I'll do the Femara CD5-CD9 (I thought it was CD3-CD7, but doctor said 5-9). Here's to us and babydust!
