Brandy,

I know what you mean 'pill poppin' addict, my stash is still under my bathroom sink. I took Royal Jelly with bee pollen in honey, wheatgrass, coq10, dhea, propolis, Super B complex, FertileCM, EPO, you name it, I probably tried it - lol. Oh yes, and DH took Maca. Anyway, I took DHEA 25mg for 6 months during my IUI cycles. However, I did NOT take any supplements while I did stim meds, my RE just said straight out they may interfere with the meds. Keep in mind, he was not a big supporter of supplements in general.

Although, my stash didn't help me get PG, I felt GREAT while I was on them!

It sounds like you are gearing up for your next cycle!! Good for you!

Thanks, Pix! I think I'll stick with the insoitol and coq10, etc. I feel like a pill-poppin' drug addict! LOL!

Dianne I'm sorry about the lay off. FWIW I had that happen to me once and looking back it was the best thing that could have happened to me. Honest! It is the absolute truth that everything happens for a reason. We got by just fine. We didn't go out as much and cut back. Everything will be OK.

I was warned that becuase it is a male hormone that I'd get facial hair and hairloss but I didn't notice that (at least no more than I already had going on...a tweeze here or there you know) After being on it I continued to research. I went on haveababy dot com forum and the doc on there wasn't real positive about it. He suggested inositol instead (which is what Dianne is on I think). My RE hadn't heard of inositol so I stuck with just the DHEA. (I was afraid to overdo it) But had I discovered inositol first I may have use it instead. I think it is more related to metabolism and used with diabetes patients where the dhea being a male hormone sounds more scary. But hey, it may have done the trick so no complaints. Also I can't discount the benefit of coenzyme q10. That has something to do with energy at the cellular level so I like to think that is what is helping my guys divide. I had searched on clinicaltrials dot gov and saw that it was being studied for AMAs and so if there are organizations putting up big money for clinical trials I figured there has to some merit. Good luck Brandy!

I'm sorry you were laid off. It seems to be going around... My friend's husband was laid off 1 yr. ago & unable to find a steady job until now and sure enough after being with the same company for 5 yrs- she was laid off & found out the same week she was pregnant. She is due any day now...& I really don't know how she does it, but she keeps going. Perserverance my friend!

I took 75mg. (25 in the am and 50 in the pm). I was on it since the cancelled IVF in January. I'm literally on my last pills of my 100-pill bottles, so 100 days.

Dianne clomid has given me no problems with being dry, at all, however we are VERY much newlyweds and I have no problems in that area anyway! WE LOVE SEX! Lol... I TOTALLY had the moodiness though, I had to really work at containing myself for about 10 days, which was the second day of taking the pill to around O'ing. DH said I was really good at controlling it, he could see that I was struggling and said I was amazing at handling it. He is so sweet.

Hey Pix -- How much DHEA did you take, and how long were you on it b/f IVF?
