Temp or CM?

What would you put more stock in when trying to decide when you ovulated, temp or CM? Usually the two confirm one another, but not this month. I usually ovulate at cd14, though sometimes up to cd16. According to my temp it would have been cd12. (Sorry, tmi ahead) I also usually get very sticky CM about the 2nd day after ovulation, but this month, while the CM was good for ovulation on cd12, it stayed more slippery and such until cd16 which is today. I never did really get good EGCM like I usually do, although it was close enough. I am still leaning toward cd12, but it is just a little confusing to me this month since it isn't the norm for me. I shouldn't really be surprised, as at my age things should start to slow down anyway. I am hoping cd12 is the more likely time, as that would at least give us a chance at conception, since DH has been gone since cd13! Any thoughts? Sorry, my chart is only on paper, so I can't give you a link.

are you using an ovulation predictor kit? I think that is the most definitive thing -- if you can get a positive. - martha
It's hard to say which symptom is more reliable.
