Is there hope?

Has anyone conceived naturally after being told by their R/E that chances are slim? I've had two unsuccessful IUIs and now R/E suggests that we really need to be aggressive and do IVF. I just turned 40 and our fertility issues relate to me having moderate endometriosis. Our insurance doesn't cover IVFs and we were told that success rate is <50% for my age group.

I conceived naturally after being diagnosed with early menopause/premature ovarian failure. I am 39 years old. Unfortunately, I m/c'd at 6 weeks. My ob/gyn tells me that the loss had nothing to do with my hormones and was most likely a chromosomal defect in the egg which as you probably know is a risk for those in our age group.
My doctors are also optimistic about me conceiving in the future - I do know that IVF procedures are most effective with doner eggs which are from younger women. Alot of women with pof do have successful pregnancies with donor eggs.

Good luck with everything!
