So, now I find, if my cycle is on the O part, my DF is either too tired or drinks too much or wants to stay up & watch TV, not go to bed....blech!
HE is the one that really wants a child (I happy to have one, but it's not a nessecity, for me)......so, I got frustrated, the other day and told him, "I changed my mind about having a child" and he said, "that's not fair to do that!", so I replied, "well everytime, it's 'baby making time', it doesn't work with HIS schedule, so let's just forget about it."

Well, he just 'thinks' that all we have to do is BD and it'll happen, just like that!

I think that's a male thing. My DH is a Dr. and kind of has that mentality, albeit not an RE or OB/Gyn but I get that sense from him. THen again I don't like to share the whole I'm O'ing thing right now, as I feel it takes the fun and spontaneity out of sex. Guess I gotta get over that huh? Guess I will try fun and spontaneous in a non-O week, that could still be tonight... temps high, negative opk, dry CM + Friday = Fun! :)
Oh I can sooooo relate!
Stupid me! I 'thought', once we start TTCing, that just having sex would be the EASY part (since males are 'usually' game for it anytime), but just trying to figure out a good time, when they are not tired, or watching sports or drinking too much with friends, isn't working into my O schedule....sheesh!

Well I get my Dh on board by bribery... I would call him for lunch and then attack him when he walked through the door, on my O days... and if at night or weekend I would just feed him then approach him when he could be easily distracted. He knows about the timing thing and when the O happens its better, but somehow he prefers not to know till the bding is done, when I ask for a pillow and then he usually smiles and says on of those days.....:smileyhappy:
My DH isn't like that at all.
