Hi Rosario,

I usually would get a weeks worth of positive OPK's.

Thanks Laurie,

It's good to know that someone else gets a bunch of positive OPK's, lol!

I use the CBEFM so it just tells me when I have a low, high to peak reading and than back to low.

hi, Rosario,
I believe that the OPKits test for a LH surge. Tests that pick up high LH levels also pick up high FSHlevels, I believe. So, your OPK could be reading high FSH levels. Did you get a CD3 test?

I never had luck with these things, so I would just go with the temping and other signs. They are very finicky.

best,

Last month I had a + OPK two days in a row (and DARK!), Thursday & Friday. I did not test before Thursday, so who knows what Wednesday's would have been. Anyway, I was certain I O'd on Friday (O Pain), but according to my temp chart, I didn't O until Sunday.

I always get O pain, but I read that you can experience that from a few days before until a day or two after you O. So that O pain may not mean that you are O'ing right then.

Very interesting about them picking up FSH! I never knew that and my understanding is FSH comes shortly before LH, so it makes a lot of sense!
