Good work on those follies, Jodi! Best of luck! Keep us posted on your IUI date.
And hey, what's your MTHFR mutation? Mine: compound heterozygous (mutations on the A and C allelles, whatever the heck that means). RE is humoring me by letting me take baby aspirin, though he (and another RE and a maternal-fetal medicine specialist I consulted) don't think it's necessary.
You know I am not even sure, but they scared me yesterday because I thought I was taking enough folic acid and apparentlly they wanted me taking 3200 mcg and I was taking 1000 mcg : ( so I hope I can get enough in me over the next week before they do the IUI.
Don't worry too much about the folic acid -- just take the big amount now and you'll be fine. Will your RE prescribe Folgard for you? It's a folic acid (4 mg, I think) and B vitamin combo. Might be easier to swallow than multiple folic acid pills. I think you can get it over the counter, too, but if you have Rx coverage it's pretty cheap.
Ha, no twinges yet except in my imagination! I am chillin' today though it's so nice out that we might go lie on a blanket in the park.
