I can't believe it, but my dh & I are giving donor / IVf a try. I just got my first shot of Lupron. It all seems sureal, but we are very hopeful.

Praying we have good news by spring-time.

Thank so much Babydreamer for the baby dust. I'll take all I can get & then some.

To answer your questions, We are going for the Donor Egg treatment. It includes the ICSI procedure...Yes, it is 70% success rate...I am 45 Yrs. young & Dr. says she has had sucess with patient older than myself...

I felt very comfortable with the Doctor & her background and the office staff as well. She took the time to answer tons of questions- even returned 2 of my calls without a problem after I got home and had even more questions. I didn't feel like they were trying to sell me a pkg deal. The Dr. again went over every step at our 2nd visit and drew all the steps out on paper for us...

First they start me on meds. The first is a Lupron injection ( done at the clinic). Then I believe a patch, then pills...I'm assuming the treatment varies depending on recipients needs. They
