What to expect 1st Urologist Appt?

the one thing have them look for is varcocel (sp?) its an issue in male infertility, (tubes and vessels within the testes get blocked) have them also check the ducts, feel his boys for any lumps and bumps (sometimes older med get backed up ducts) CHECK THE PROSTATE!!! If it is enlarged he will get lower fluid amounts in semen with less carrier!!

When they do a semen analysis have them MAKE SURE IT IS READ BY not only the urologist but the embryiologist at the fertility clinic (most urologists are NOT trained in reading sperm morphology only in counting) looking at total count (numbers), motility (how do they move in a straight line or are the retarted and swim in circles not getting anywhere), morphology(do they have well formed heads, body and tails??some sperm have mis-shaped heads, tails too short or broken etc...)
