Well you actually can get a + OPK but not actually ovulate but I wouldn't speculate that to be the case.

Thanks! I've also been charting for years too and my temp was low this morning.....BUT I had to wake up 2 hours earlier due to jury duty, so I may have to dump that temp....I don't know.


I wonder if I'll have another surge with EWCM in a few days. Guess time will tell. Guess we'll try anyway....couldn't hurt!

Well, in my opinion, I would 'disregard' the lack of CM and go with the temp drop, high cervix, ovary pain and OPK and assume that you are about to ovulate. I am not an OPK user, too expensive for me. I think that it is most likely that for some reason you are just simply not producing a lot of cm right now. Try drinking lots more water, plus there are a few foods that help too. I am not up on those, I think they are posted in an info thread somewhere, but the only one that sticks out for me is pineapple juice, although I can't guarantee that is one of them! Haha! That isn't a lot of help is it! Sorry! Anyway, if you usually ovulate about this time, then go on the assumption that you are. At worst you may be covering extra bases, but at least you won't be kicking yourself for missing it later.

Dani,
I wouldn't freak aboutt he Cm--it sounds like you have every other sign of O. Have you ever used PreSeed? You can get it at CVS--it is the only lube that mimics fertile CM and is safe for TTC.

I used to take Benedryl for allergies and realized it totally dried up my CM. So there could be other factors weighing on the CM. Don't worry. Watery CM is still considered fertile. :) Sticky/tacky or dry is usually not--but PReSeed can help that too.

Unfortunately we don't have a CVS here, at least I don't think so...I'm in Boise, Idaho. I know I could order it, but it would be too late for this cycle. I do take some allergy meds...Claritin, but only once in a while. I usally get the EWCM even when I take it. I'm just thinking without the more fertile CM, this month may be a dud or I'm shoooting out a less quality egg. UGHHHHH.....makes me mad!!
