Where do I go from here?

So you may have read about my whacked out temps this month from my previous thread. I'm attaching last month's chart and this month's chart so you can see the inconsistency.

Here are a few things to consider from last month:
1) FF predicted my ovulation wrong (obviously because there was no previous data). I was my most fertile three days earlier than it predicted, so we missed our window.
2) I never did get a + on the OPK, and I peed on it twice a day in afternoon and evening.
3) I DID experience middleschmirtz last month at the time I ovulated (detected by a temp spike, which is obvious on the chart).
4) My cycle was only 25 days in length. AF on 9/14 and again on 10/9. Both normal length and flow.

Things to consider this month:
1) I'm on CD 10, which is the day I ovulated last month.
2) My temps have been very inconsistent this month. Yes, I take my temp at same time every day with a new BBT thermometer (measures in Celsius, which is more accurate).
3) I did experience some sticky CM yesterday but none today, certainly not the consistency it needs to be. (The sperm would have to be made of STEEL to puncture through that sh*t!)
4) FF says today and the next two days are my most fertile but I tested - on OPK this afternoon, and my temps haven't dropped.
5) I'm not feeling "frisky," which is common for me during my most fertile time.
6) I've not seen any runny or EWCM.

Should we trust FF and start BDing now for the next 3-4 days? I try to time it as an every-other-day BD since DH is 54 years old and likely isn't as fertile as he once was. Should I just keep POAS with the OPKs and wait until I see a line?

I just don't know what to do at this point. I'm tired and am not in the mood, if you know what I mean. And trying to time this all perfectly when my fertility signs aren't clear is very frustrating and feels like a fruitless endeavor.

I would really appreciate some input.

I sure wish I could provide some words of wisdom, but I have NO luck wth bbt as I am an insomniac and OPK's aren't exactly my best friend either (had to go to the digital Clearblue - can't read those freakin' lines!)

Just wanted to wish you luck - I'd bd every other day just to cover the bases.

It is so hard when things aren't predictable. It is doubtful that you are going to ovulate in the next day or two, but not impossible. Sometimes cm is not what it should be. Susan was talking about grapefruit juice helping with that, if you aren't on other meds that are contraindicated then I would recommend getting some right away. I would also BD every other day starting soon so that you don't miss that window. I know it is hard to do that when you aren't in the mood. I remember the pressure on both of us to do it when we really did NOT want to, but because we had spent SO MUCH money on the fertility meds we HAD to. Thank goodness those days are long behind us, and while there is still some of that pressure these days it is okay to let one night slide if we have to, and just work hard the next night on setting the mood just right and focus on having fun, not on performing and it usually all works out fine.

Just remember that temping and cm are only tools to help us get it right, don't get so focused on it that it takes all the fun out of everything. Hang in there, it will all work out.

Thanks, everyone, for your replies. We BDd last night even though I had - OPK twice yesterday and twice today (using First Response OPK sticks -- expensive!).

Temp went up again today a little. Who the hell knows. * sigh *

I really appreciate everyone's help.

Hi Melissa:)

It seems that I am facing a wacky cycle myself such a bummer... I have been "O"ing early like cd10-11 for the past 3 months yet so far this month, nothing. No signs, no +opk, I tempt'ed yesterday and it was the lowest # I've seen in the 11 months I've been charting??? WEIRD

So I guess we just keep BDing until temp rise and it's not dh that minds it me LOL I'm tired!!! LOL

Still hoping we see both finally "o" and see a bfp this month!

Well, this is how crazy it looks now!! (See attached)

I have never had a line darker than the control on an OPK, and I'm paying the big bucks on First Response now. But today -- where there was no line before -- there is a visible line on the OPK stick.

Maybe I just don't fire out a huge amount of LH?
