Ahhhh, I knew I could count on you!
Nice one with the zen tip, Susan!!
So I love to cook and watch that show Chopped on the Food Network...so last night I came home from work and DH had gone to the gourmet market and had these beautiful ingredients lined up on the counter and in the voice of the host, told me what the "mystery ingredients in the basket were." There was a black radish in there to stump me...along with a nice bottle of red to enjoy. ;)
So I made dinner with all the ingredients and we did this silly role playing like the show, drank the wine, and DH cleaned the kitchen! :)
(I didn't get chopped by the way. ;))

You are awesome Susan.
I have a ton of local peaches in my house -- they have been cheap and delicious this year -- not like last year's crop that was washed out by too much rain and cold (I live in Ontario Canada, so local is a big deal). I have bought too many so now am thinking what I should bake with
Peach cobbler, peach cobbler, peach cobbler.
Hmmmm......Did I mention, peach cobbler...
Okay then, peach cobbler!!!
One of my favorites. :-D
My DH and I are planning on seeing Inception this weekend, so no spoilers!
We just spent the past 5 weeks tearing down wallpaper in our new 100 year old home. Now I've been hearing that wallpaper is back in. Oy! But, I don't think this wallpaper will be back in for at least 20 years.
I've made a bunch of peach cobbler this past week. Threw in a few cherries into one batch. yumm! I hope to make some peach crumble with ground up ginger snaps on top this week.
And I loved chopped! And, my hubby and I played chopped last night as well! And I got chopped!
As far as me, I'm just hoping that my period comes in the next few months. I thought I O'd, but temps are still doing nothing dramatic. It has been since June 12 ! I read on a bunch of boards that people who do IVF often have trouble in the second cycle after a failed procedure. At this point, I'm just hoping to not be an old woman!!!
Ok -- meditate! PEACHES........ WALLPAPER!!!
