Hi Ladies - I've never stopped by here but I'm glad I found you. I just miscarried last week while in Brazil. I have 4 kids and have been married 22 years. My dh had a reversal in Oct 06- I conceived in 3 weeks but we last that baby at 10 weeks. We had our Luke last year and I conceived again in February but lost that baby also at 10 weeks. My former ob retired and the one I saw yesterday was very neg. about trying again. She said I had a 50% chance of miscarrying every time I conceive because of my AMA ): She also said my uterus could rupture because of the type of c-section I had. ( my former Dr said I could get PG again no problem) New Doc pushed birth control. she was recommended by former doc 'cause of her surgical skills so I hate to change but she made me very well ummm nuts. Our baby will only be six when all the others are are grown and I don't want him to be alone.
Any words of wisdom?

I think at 41 with a recent successful pregnancy, you have really excellent odds.

your new dr. is probably not a good one for you. my ob is very very positive about us having our 4th. i am 44 and i have a three year old as my youngest. i think you should do what feels right for you and if your worried about your c-section, get another opinion. remember, your first dr said it was fine. some dr's are not 40+ and TTC, friendly!!!

I was 41 (almost 42) when I had my last son last year. I also have older ones (almost 24, 18, 4 and 1 year.) True, the odds are that m/c's happen more when you're AMA, but I agree with others, you seem like you have a great chance. Good luck!!
