43 Newbie/In the "Waiting" Zone

Hi All,
I am 43 and just finished an injectable cycle using Bravelle (sp). I find out on Monday the 17th "officially". I had 5 viable eggs. The doctor says I am pretty fertile for a woman of my age (LOL). I have been pregnant 5 times prior (4 m/c), and have 1 awesome daughter who is 4 in June. I hopefully will be giving her a sibling soon. I feel like I am pregnant....but who knows maybe it is the drugs lingering. I am trying to be hopeful but not get those hopes too high!
I wanted to just say reading all your posts has been a great support to me. So thanks to all of you on this board, you have touched my heart.

I too am in the waiting period. I finished injectables (2 follistim, 2 reponex) and will find out next Wed. I am 44, 1 son 3 years old March and M/C Fall 2002. I had 2 good eggs. I feel something but it probably is the estrognen and progesterone I am asked to take.

Thanks for the support. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I think the same thing about the progesterone, it could be causing how I am feeling also.

Welcome to the board! You will find many intelligent, warm and supportive women here.
I believe the progesterone causes symptoms such as sore breasts, etc. I have felt this way every cycle (currently in the 2ww for cycle #4 - I will test the same day as you!)
They always seem to make comments such as, you are responding great *for your age*!! Hmmm, sort of a double-edged compliment!

Any news? I am scheduled for a blood HCG test on Wednesday and the wait is driving me nuts. I feel like my period is coming?
