Hi, I'm 43 and finished my first IVF Cycle and happy to report I'm pregnant. But, today, my 23rd day since retrieval-fertilization, had an ultrasound where they could not see anything. My doctor said either my egg is growing at its own pace, or I am going to miscarry, or it could be eptopic preganancy! The Dr said at this point in my pregnancy they should have seen something, 60% of women show something on an ultrasound. I'm very sad and upset and trying to be optimistic. They are calling me later to report my levels ??? to see if they are at 1000? Not sure what that means. Then I have to go back this Thursday for more blood work and ultrasound. I'm reaching out to you because I'm very upset and wonder if there is any hope that I could be pregnant regardless of the ultrasound results...has anyone not seen anything on the ultrasound at 23 days?
