hello, ladies! My name is Dede and I am 40. I had a wonderful ds 2 weeks shy of my 39th birthday and we have decided to try for one more. I am trying not to get my hopes up too much, it took a long time to concieve ds. But it will be nice to have some people to chat with while we try!

Welcome! Your little one is such a cutie! I agree that your odds are still pretty good, so I think you have a fairly decent chance. However, as my fertility doctor put it years ago, your chances are either 100% or 0%, you can never be 50% pregnant!

Welcome Dede and good luck. I agree with Susan -- you are on the younger side and having had a recent PG should render you more fertile.

Welcome, Dede! Your odds for Baby #2 are great - 40 is relatively young and since you had a baby at almost-40, the future is bright. Good luck and KUP!
