Just wondering who/how many were able to conceive naturally >40? How long did it take? I have heard my great grandmother conceived 2 in her early 40's (presumably naturally since that was so long ago)...Just wondering....

My recent BFP was "natural" and I am 40yrs and 9 months. It took 2+ years!! My ob gave me a 1-2% chance based on my age!! My other 3 children (all boys) were concieved on

Lisa, I personally know 3 over 40, and my doc told me that one of her patience got PG by accident at 48!! Of all the reading I have done (mostly western philosophy) I have decided that natural is the only way for me. welcome :)

Lisa:

What is considered "natural"? I conceived thrice over 40. The first two were easy and completely without any medical intervention or monitoring. The third time I was 42. I had been on Clomid for the three preceding cycles. That was the only intervention... but I would still consider this to be natural.

Clomid adjusted the various fertility hormones and did the trick for us. We have a healthy, happy 3 month old son now.

Best wishes and welcome.

I conceived this pregnancy at 42 years 2 months naturally. I was taking supplements to enhance egg quality such as DHEA, Vitamin E, CoQ10.

Susan sorry for the delay in answering. I was trying to find the information that linked it to fertility but I can't find it. I believe the long and short of it is that it improves blood flow to you organs including your uterus.

I forgot to add that I was also taking L-Arginine.

I think this link is helpful for supplements: http://natural-fertility-info.com/
