Hello! I am so sorry you had to get an RE that is like so many out there I hear about. I am very lucky, our RE is very laid back and NEVER pushed for IVF, after a m/c the year before and trying for 6 months with my OB we went in and very adamantly said "we got pg on our own last year, we want to try that again but with just a little extra help, clomid and then after 3 months IUI" he said "Ok". He then ordered some basic tests like a saline u/s and a follicle count. The u/s showed I had a huge fibroid taking up 70% of the inside of my uterus, thus causing the m/c and also implantation problems, we are now 3 cycles past surgery and have tried clomid twice and IUI/clomid once. We have no insurance for fertility treatments either and it is sad because it is a medical problem that insurance should have to help with. There are RE's out there that will let you decide where to take the treatment but I know they can be hard to find. Good luck and keep us posted!!
