Baby aspirin?

I've recently had a m/c & have seen a lot about taking a baby aspirin once a day to prevent possible m/c. I never heard of this. Is this safe once you do concieve? And how far into the pregnancy do you continue to take it? Is it possible that something as simple as a baby aspirin can prevent another m/c? Would appreciate more info on this. If it works, it is definetly worth it!!! hopeat40

I know that there is disagreement among some doctors on if this really works.

Hi,

Baby aspirin can help in two way. #1 It thickens your uterine lining thus helping to maintain a PG

#2 It thins the blood & helps to prevent clotting. Many women have blood clotting issues & are unaware of it. If you suffer from migraines you are likely to have these issues. The blood clots & gets cut off from the baby & you M/C. This is something I personally have been dealing with.

Keep us posted!!
