I was more of a lurker when I was TTC our first. I spent more time on TTCAM. Anyway, we were lucky enough to conceive (naturally) a baby in July last year and Tallulah was born March 17th this year (36 hour labor ending in a CS).
I just turned 42, so we have decided to start trying again. If nothing happens we will be completely content and consider ourselves completely blessed to have our daughter. However, we would like to give her a brother or sister if we can.
We met later in life, so thank whomever that we were able to have a baby together and don't for one minute take it for granted.
I look forward to being a more active member of the board this time around!!

Nice to meet you. Just wanted to chime in and say that we have similar stories. I had a tubal reversal in December 08 and just had a perfect baby girl February 16, 2010. I am 42. We decided right away to have one more to give her a close sibling. We got pg first try. I am due March 18, 2011. I will be 43 next Saturday. :)

Hi Paula - I feel like I know you already as I followed your blog for Josephine with great interest because we were so close in our pregnancies! Your blow-by-blow of your amnio really helped calm my nerves when I went through it - thanks!!
Anyway, congrats on your new pregnancy - I don't think we'll be so fast out of the gate with a BFP, but wanted to start trying asap, so we don't look back and say we wish we'd started trying sooner!
Josephine is beautiful - I've attached a picture of Tallulah as I never made the announcement on this board as I was too superstitious and mostly lurked.
Looking forward to sharing more this time around!!
