New dh and I had a m/c last year at 7 weeks, we had only been dtd for 2 months and it was a shock, never thought we would ever be able to do that at our age! We were wrong! LOL! Now after TRYING HARD for over a year, nothing, UGH, so not fair!!!
Just as a disclaimer I'm not recommending anyone take these herbs. I'm a bit of a mad scientist and fascinated with natural herbs. Sometimes I wonder if I've missed my calling. I figure at this point I'll try whatever I find that seemily fits my personal issues. I've researched both of these herbs extensively.
Sharon which herbs are you taking?
These are the notes I took regarding both of these herbs and I flagged them for this month. Yeah...I actually have a notebook for all my herbal notes (purpose, when to take them and when to stop, dosage and what it works well with). When I chart my BBT I leave notes on how I'm feeling and if I see a change during the time I've introduced a new herb I discontinue it, lower the dosage or if I'm getting really good results I move it over to the next month. For instance I tried Dong Quai last month and during the days I was dosing my BBT became extremely erratic. Not taking it at all this month. The month prior to that I tried Xiao Yao Wan and had amazingly good results. I felt terrific on it so I'm continuing it this month and upped the dosage from 2x a day to the recommended 3x a day.
False Unicorn is an herb used (discovered?) by the Native Americans. It supports hormonal balance, uterine prolapse and has a normalizing effect on your ovaries. I't s also used in infertility caused by dysfunction in follicular formation in the ovary. Other benefits include easing ovarian pain, vaginal dryness, strengthens the lining of the womb and relieves fibroids. Helps to prevent miscarriages.*I suffer from almost all of these symptoms so I'm going to try it this month and see the response. It's taken prior to ovulation through the luteal phase.* Recommended dosage is 2-4 ml 3x a day with a cup of hot water. Virtually no side effects Except if you over dose yourself. Nausea and vomiting may occur. Pricing is between $10-$20 I've heard it tastes nasty, but it's potent and works.
Zao Jiao Ci is a chinese herb that is used in conjunction with Acupuncture for people diagnosed with Liver Qi Stagnation with Dampness. My body is too cold, sluggish and wet. The herb helps to expel the excess moisture. It moves and nourishes blood. Encourages follicals to mature and ovulation to occur sooner. You take it for 5 days prior to expected ovulation. *I tend to stall out prior to ovulation. My metabolism is very slow.* Pricing is $10-$20 and this usually comes as a raw herb. Dosage is about 3-6 grams.
I ordered both of these herbs on Amazon.
Thank you for the information.
I take wheatgrass, Female Rejuvanator which is a combo pill ordered on the internet, black cohosh before O, recently added Maca and DHEA, also take fish oil and evening primrose oil for good cervical mucus supposedly.
I've been pretty MIA since I got my period on May 3rd.
So I had my Reiki treatment today, after it was over she said my uterus has fear, I said if you have been through what I have been through your uterus would have fear too.
Heart Chakra blockage is second to Sacral Chakra blockage in regards to infertility in my opinion. A closed heart chakra suggests difficulty in loving yourself and fear in loving others. Other feelings associated with a closed heart chakra is self pity/feeling sorry for yourself, unable to forgive yourself, fear of rejection, feeling unworthy/undeserving and love lost.
I find meditation and yoga postures promoting heart chakra opening techniques (ie: Camel, Cobra, Fish are good ones that come to mind) helpful in guiding love back into my life.
