Fertility Aid - Instead Softcups??

Hi all,
I saw this online and wondered if you have heard of this. The reviews sort of astounded me. So many couples that have been TTC long-term were PG in a month with these.
I am reluctant to keep spending money on all these gadgets and tests and such but the reviews seemed convincing.
What are your thoughts??

I used these when we were TTC naturally and I think it may have helped because we conceived twice when using them.

Wow so now I am hearing first-hand success stories from you, Ruth. Holy moly!
I hope this isn't a TMI-query, and feel free not to reply if you don't want to, but I was wondering about the logistics of the cup after BD. Do you insert it before you get out of bed? It seems to me there is always a lot of semen around when he pulls out so I wonder if I'm fishing around with an Instead Cup, is it going to move around the semen even more??
I also wondered if it hinders the chances if DH "lingers" inside for a while when we finish.
Or did you bypass the IC entirely and have him ejac. intot he cup directly as some of the reviews posted about?
Sorry for TMI but it appears BD-ing is a bit different than having IC for fun!

I know what you mean, Susan!
I don't dare bring this up to my acupuncturist! He thinks all of this charting and peeing on sticks all month is too much. If he hears about this he will put his head in his hands!
Well, I'm not sure that we have any TMI subjects on this board and your questions are perfectly valid, so no worries!
Thanks Ruth!!
So can you elaborate on this:
" I put BD in quotes because DH had some challenges with finishing during BD, so we would do a kind of at-home IUI."
I ask because I am wondering if the chances of conception were higher for couples who had the man ejac. into the cup outside of the woman first or for couples who had full-on ICto the finish and then put the cup in the hold the swimmers in place.
I have a feeling my DH will not want to have any part of ejaculating into a cup unless a Dr. instructs him to do so!! But then again, as each month of TTC gets more challenging, who knows what types of issues may arise (or not be able to, um, rise??? ;))
Thanks again :)!
I'm not sure these softcups are worth it.

Interesting, Susan. Where was this posted? I'm interested in checking out the article.
I get the impression that the author of the excerpt you posted is referring to what happens to the sperm once they have actually entered the uterus. But the softcups seem to aid in helping the sperm get through the cervix opening.
Toni Weschler states in "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" that, while lying with the hips propped on a pillow after IC may help in this process, for some it may hinder--that is that the hips may be too elevated so that the sperm ends up pooling around behind the neck of the cervix rather than right at the opening. It is here where it appears the softcups might help. I don't know...I may be over-analyzing (not the first time!!!). I think I may still try them this month. I'm on the fence...
I'd have to re-google to find that again.
