Getting ready for this months round....

So I've been counting my days for 3 months (very regular) and just last month started to actually use an ovulation test. So this will be my 4th month.

Testing starts on Sunday the 30th. Anyone out there with me?

Just trying to get "up" for it - I'm sure by Sunday I'll feel more optimistic but right now, just feeling kinda puny.

My sister who is 41 and expecting her first in August says I should call my doctor NOW and get in to see some specialists but when I last saw my doctor (2 months ago), she basically advised me to wait a bit, since it's proven that I can get pregnant (twice, both M/C, separated by 8 years).

I have to say I agree with your sister. My biggest mistake has been waiting too long. I am now 42 and will be 43 in a few months. Time is critical. I had a M/C last year, and thought - oh good I can get PG - I don't need assistance - I waited 7 months before going back to an RE...and now 12 months after the M/c and 1 IUI nothing.

I just had my second IUI and I am waiting for the results. If this doesn't work, I really don't have many other options.

Best of Luck to you.

Hi,

I agree with you sister. You should have some testing done. The tests will cause no harm & can only help. You can still continue to TTC while going through that. It could easily take 2-3 months of testing so you don't want to put it off.

Hope this helps.
