Hello:)

I'm new to the group, so thought I would post! I am 43 and have been told by my doc its time to either conceive or lose the opportunity. Okay... so I have been thinking for years about having a baby, but always kept waiting for the perfect time and the perfect guy and the perfect... well you get the point.

When I told my obgyn I wanted to try naturally (at 44) he said to use a clear blue fertility monitor. So I got one. Also look up dhea for quality eggs. Hope that helps and good luck!

Okay, this might sound silly, but...

When it comes to time of day when charting, how exact does that need to be. Does 30 minutes matter? Yesterday I took my temp when my alarm went off, but this morning I was awake 30 minutes before then and needed to go to the bathroom, so I did it then. Does that make a huge difference?

Thanks!

30 minutes won't really matter. I just try to keep mine within the hour. The main thing is to temp before you get up, just like you did yesterday.

Welcome,

I am fairly new to the board and only 2 months into TTC. I am about to start charting my BBT tomorrow (today should be last day of AF). I look forward to learning right along with you. I have found the ladies on this site very helpful and supportive, and I bet you will too. Tons of baby dust to you!!! ;)
