Hi all,

I have taken a break from the board for a while, but want to start to TTC again as soon as possible. The problem is I have not yet got AF since my D & C. It has been 5 weeks (Dec 21st) and I really want to try again, but no AF. I am not PG again, I did a test to make sure on Saturday and it was BFN.

Glad to see you back again, Lori. Five weeks isn't a long time, really. Sometimes it can take six weeks. I wonder if your BFing is slowing things down a bit too? I have no idea. I hope you are ready to try soon -- and I am sure you will have good news to post soon.

Thanks Krista...DO you think BF is causing things to slow down when I now only BF right before bed (maybe 10 minutes just to get Max asleep and then in the morning again so I can sleep a bit?

98% of the time he has formula or food now.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Welcome back Lori!! Relax AF will eventually make her way back. Give your body some time to regulate hormones etc... It can take a few weeks more than we would like but

Hello Lori,

I too had a d&c in Nov (my 2nd ever) and it took a full 6 weeks to see AF. I didn't even O in those 6 weeks!! This Jan was my first regular cycle. I took the opportunity to have all my TTC bw done in this interim month. The RE said "do you want to rush this or do this right?" Believe me, I've been very impatient, my next youngest just turned 4, but I keep hoping if we wait we can "do it right" next time!

Hey Lori!

I don't have any experience with BF but just wanted to say that I'm glad to see you back.
