Oh jeanne :( I am so sorry to read this post. I have wondered a couple times where you went. I can't imagine what you've been thru. At almost 45 (and feeling like a 30 something), I don't in my wildest imagination think 41 is old... I would trade in a second!! Follow your heart, you know that is what you have to do.
Oh my gosh you guys, you all brought tears to my eyes. While wallowing in my misery and uncertainty over the past few months I FORGOT how important support from people WHO UNDERSTAND is...I don't have much IRL support. Kindness, but no true understanding. I've missed you and thank you all. I look forward to supporting one another and I should have come back much sooner.
Many hugs to you Jeanne. I remember seeing you before and am so glad you are back. (Sorry I am late posting this, I have only been here sporadically due to company.)
I also think 41 is still young, I am 44 and still hoping for one more. I am so sorry for your losses, it is so hard. I also lost a baby at the end of the first trimester, (the end of January) and within 6 months of a previous m/c. I opted out of the D&C though, and am so thankful I did. I only mention my m/c's so you know that you are not alone in wanting to try again even though that loss is always so close. We too are only trying until my next birthday which is in January, so hopefully things happen before that or I will have to face letting go of that dream. I hope it happens soon for all of us.
I hope your new RE can give you some good help in regard to your uterine lining, that has to be so frustrating. Part of the reason I wanted to avoid the D&C. I know they are sometimes necessary though, I just did not like what the one I had several years ago did to me personally.
Hang in there, I am glad to see you back and getting the support you need for this roller coaster!
Hey Joan, looks like there are at least the three of us who are giving it to the end of the year! I am glad to hear you are feeling hopeful, so am I, so maybe it will happen for all of us very soon!
