Hi All. I used to be on the TTCYFC board here many years ago no, about 6, and now have an almost 5 year old daughter. She's AMAZING. We have decided to add to the brood, so we started this month.

I'm using OPK's, and Ovusoft software to chart, though I don't temp as my waking times are too eratic, so just CM. My doc just did a blood workup on me and all is in good order (though I'm awaiting a call about my progesterone levels, I wonder if I have LPD) and DH is in good health also.

Have any of you used any herbs, or been given progesterone during TTC? Or just after a +HPT? I'm trying B6 this cycle, adn if there is another cycle, will add in vitex adn baby asprin.

So, the road is starting! I'm currently 7dpo. I usually get AF these days at 9dpo, as I have been ovulating at CD18.

I am not used to this style of board, so bear wtih me while I learn, if there are any quick tips for me, please share!

I look forward to getting to know all of you,

Robin (I need to get a siggy posted in here too!)

Hi Robin,

Congrats on the decision to go for #2.

I'm also having problems with LPD.

Thanks for the note! Wow, you want them close!

I will start vitex next cycle. Im pretty sure this one isn't IT for me, but I tell ya, my BB's are KILLING me and I'm really tried by 3-ish pm daily now for 3 days... But I have been working hard. I have read on the ovusoft board to take the B-complex *with* B6... Who really knows...

I wish you luck! Fun to have someone in my shoes too. I post at aanother board elsewhere and no one but me is TTC, and I'm one of the oldest. I used to be a CL at a board here many moons ago, before they charged you for an account.

I'm hoping this cycle is IT, guess I will know in a few days...

Thanks again for your note!

thansk for the note...

questions... Is there an easier way to view this board? I see I can click on outline view, but it's not *easy*... Can you give me suggestions? Or is it basically I have to pay for it so it's easier and I can add siggies? Thanks, I appreciate any feedback..

Thanks for beign so welcoming. I have not been to ivillage admittedly for many years, I hope to renew my relationship with it...

HI! I was on the TTCYFC board in 2001-2002+, then when the boards changed and ivillage became really lets say *different* we moved our board, and the FTM board. I as CL of TTCYFC, and in my first month of that, got PG. I had been a memeber for 6 months of trying.

Anyway, I came here hoping to find support and info, and 'branch out' a bit. But I admit I'm having a hard time with the format, but I'm sure I'll get over it...

Not sure if I'lll pay the $4.. We shall see...

Thank you for welcoming me! ARe you in France?

Wow, that sounds like a lot of work. To conceive my first (delivered at 40) I just used the online fertility guide and it worked just fine. Now I'm TTC number two. Good luck!!

Hi!!

The boards were many different things. Easier to read, always in outline view-ish. No charge for things, not as much commercial stuff. The biggiest selling point in that was that it wasn't like beating yourself over the head to be involved, or PAY to be. That part I guess is bugging me... I'm finding hard to get connected easily, scan the board easily, but I'm also spoiled by another board that is pretty fast. That is not a negative comment on this board, it's just appreciation for what I DO have...

I loved the TTCYFC board here, and the chat rooms, I grew up there so to speak, and most of us that were there are still together on a First Time Mom's board we created and maintain elsewhere, so 6 years now. Most have more than one child, but we stick together... Many of us have gotten together, some have visited from other parts of the country, that kind of stuff.

I'm sure this is the same for all of you, whether this board or others, it's just my experience at that time. I'm happy to share where we are, just not on the board...

But what I DON'T get at my other board that I hope for here is TTC support. We don't talk about it much there, it's more current stuff and bigger kid stuff, and I don't want to harp on TTC there when they are not in the mindset, so I'm here hoping for the support in that arena I need!!!

I'm hoping the support is both ways, I'm a big giver too.

I was also CL on my TTCYFC board, and conceived the month I turned CL.

If there are easier ways to do things here, meaning navigate the board, please tell me....

Thanks for writing me!!!!

Salut Robin, et ca va? (Sorry, no accents available!)

I was on IV previously as well, and I really liked it. It was a completely simple interface, not so glitzy as this, very low tech - but it worked and it worked well.

I also don't temp, I just can't get it together enough in the am to do it regularly and at the same time... I use the CM method, and I have recently purchased a bunch of OPTs on-line. My doctor (specialist) advised me to take a low dose asperin daily, and has given me a prescription for progesterone for use as soon as I get a BFP. Otherwise, I am just taking a prenatal vitamin. I am considering Maca, but that was not part of what my doctor said to do.

Your Luteal Phase seems short to me, given what I have read. 10-14 days is the norm, with 10 being the shortest that places like Fertility Friend say has potential to support an early pregnancy. Have you discussed this with your doctor?

Bon chance!

Libby
