Your post sounded all too familiar to me. I could have written most of it myself!! I was married to a great guy for 12 years, but never had any kids together. We D'd in 2005 and I thought that my dreams of becoming a mother would never happen. I finally found a great guy (after a few years of healing) in 2007 at the age of 38....but of course it took a couple years to get the R into a totally stable, marriage-potential state.....we M in 2009 and started TTC 6 months later. He is the best guy but I was 41 when we started TTC our first baby. And it has taken a long time. I finally JUST found out I am PG for the first time a few days ago--4 months shy of my 42nd Bday. I pray the bb sticks and all goes well.
