Welcome back, Joan. Good Luck and I think it's great that your doc is on board too. I am also returning after giving up and am also hoping I graduatte this time.
Sounds like we are on a similar path : ) They actually have me starting birth control the next time I start a period, which I obviously do not understand this at all, but I am going down this road so I will try not to be too neurotic (No guarantees).
Joan, your words really touched me. I'm sorry for your loss. It's good to know you have a Dr. whom you feel comfortable with and supports you. Know that we are all in this together and are rootin' for ya too.
My husband & I are ttc #1. I'm 44 & he is 40. We tried our first attempt at IUI but after bloodwork my Dh is now on clomid to balance a pesky hormones. My #'s were good last time, but it's been awhile and had to get more bld wrk done. I will get my FSH results on tuesday (seems like an eternity)... Hopefully we can try IUI again by june. IVF is the best option, but unfortunately we can't afford it and Ins.does not cover. But Like yourself, I'm not giving up until I've exhausted all possible options.
All the best on your journey, hope your stay here is a short one due to a bfp :)
My name is Kim, I am 44 and just lost a baby yesterday at 8 weeks. We had just seen his/her little heartbeat a few days earlier and thought everything was OK. We had not planned on this last pregnancy, we already have 6 children...but after we saw our baby's hb could not help but fall in love with our child and we were SO excited. I feel guilty that it's only been 1 days since we lost our angel and I'm already longing to try again. My dh absolutely does not want to go through this again so I'm not sure I will get another chance to live the dreams I'd been planning on living this past month before we lost our child.
Anyway, I was skimming the boards and I came across your post and noticed the link to your blog. I read through your blogs and I was so touched by your love for your son and the strength you showed throughout his short life. I absolutely think you made the right choices for Michael. I just wanted to pop in here and let you know that I really admire your courage and I hope and pray that you will be blessed again (I'm assuming since you are on the TTC board you are trying again).

that is so sweet and thank you.

I am new to this fertility stuff. Can I ask how you know that your eggs are "bad"?
Thanks,
Rachelle
