Welcome here! I am so sorry for you loss, that is so hard. How far along were you? I just lost one in January at 13 weeks although the baby had died before that, and yes, there is still a big hole there, but it is getting better as the days go by. Temping is definitely the way to start, especially if you are irregular and need to find out what is going on. Have you seen a doctor about it yet? And 42 is still young, I had my last baby at 42 and she is wonderful!

Betsy,
I'm so sorry for your loss....life can be so cruel...wishing you peace and a bfp soon too. I'm 42 and ttc #2, have a 2 year old...but I know if I do get pregnant I'll be excited but mostly terrified...I was like that with my dd...I wasted so much energy on worrying, and everything turned out fine....hope to hear more from you....Catherine xx

Hi Betsy. After a lot of discussion we did decide to TTC again. Very interesting about your little one and the dream. Interesting too that you are getting larger instead of smaller. It is quite possible to miscarry one and still keep the second twin, but I am assuming that they did an u/s to rule that out.

Hello,
Very sorry to hear of your loss. We also lost our angel this year at about 16 weeks. Didnt know till 19 weeks. The first thing that came to all our minds was "Why??" After the initial shock, I started searching for answers. Like you, I thought there must be some religious context. I truly believe that God lets bad things happen for a reason. Just today, I realized something about myself. I have been a much more level-headed and "nicer" person since our m/c. Now, that may not be the reason, but maybe a side effect? Who knows. But fact is that it has changed me forever and I will never forget the baby who touched my life. Don't know if you've noticed changes in yourself? BTW Isaiah is a lovely name.
My "goose bump" moment was right after I delivered our baby and the nurse told us it was a boy. I had known in my heart, for a few years before, that there was a little boy who would enter our lives. I often wondered if I was silly to have such thoughts since we were not even planning to have a baby. Lo and behold, here he was.
I can definitely relate to your belly situation! But I was even bigger since I was so far along. It's been about a month and a half since the delivery and I have finally stopped wearing my maternity wear. I can squeeze into my usual clothes now. I was told that since I did not get to breast feed, that I would have a harder time getting rid of postpartum belly and weight.
Anyway, welcome to the board. I hope we all find our dreams come true very soon.
