I really appreciate your 2nd reply.
SUre thing alexa!! From charting, i learned that my LP is very short while breastfeeding - as short as 4 days! (it should be like 14). I take 100 mg of B6 to lentgthen it. This time around, i waited and watched my LP lengthen from 4 days to 5 days, then to 8 days on its own. THEN i started b6, and it went to 10. FF to today, at 4 dpo, and we'll see how long my lp is this time... maybe 9 months?? HAHAHHA. Anyway, give it a try. it really does help - altho you need to watch it - it can lower your milk supply. I have never noticed it a problem, but then i dont take it until after a year at least.
Hi A! this is actually the first time i have been on this board, as i usually just go hang on the regular TTC board. I will be 40 in 2 months. I loved reading your story, and here is mine -
i also live in a rural area!! with zero friends in real life, LOL. ONline only...
i did not meet my husband until i was 27, and we did not marry until i was 32,. We conceived right away! so nine months after the wedding we ehad our girl. 3 months after that, i was diagnosed with MS. This of course was devastating, but i managed. we wanted to conceive our 2nd child, but my disease and medication issues intervened - PLUS i was BFg, so i didnt even get my first postP AF unril my baby was 18 months old!!! Then it still took 6 more months to be fertile enough. BUt, whne my DD was 2 yo, i conceived my 2nd cghild, and had my son. when he was 2, i conceived my 3rd (everything was about the same - took 18 months for AF to return, and 6 months to conceive after that!!)
this time around, my AF came back at 1 year. I am my 5th cycle of TTC our 4th child, and even though it might be kind of nutty, i hope to have a 5th someday... God willing.
I am glad that things are going smoothly for you and your family now, and i wish you all the luck in the world TTCg!!! And dealing with rural life, LOL. you have all my sympathy there - i hate the country. ;o)
If you want any advice concerning BFg and TTC, i'm your gal. I have gone through this 3 times , including now. I BFd my 1st 3 years, my 2nd 2 years, and i am still BFg my 3rd. Tip - taking vitamin B6 helps regulate your cycles while breastfeeding.good luck!!!!
Welcome! I am 40 years old- never wanted to get married or have a family until I met my DH and got married at 35. Started TTC right away and got a bfp after 11 months- lost that angel baby at 8 weeks and got another bfp after 2 more years of trying. Had DS in April 09,
