Hello Everyone ~

My name is Annie, 39/Divorced and for the first time in my life I realized that I want a child, because I finally found the man of my dreams. Unfortunately...I am late in the game, and kicking myself because I am worried that I blew my chances.

Welcome Annie. You are young and you certainly did not wait too long so stop thinking that way!

I am sorry to hear about Ryans issue and hopefully the urologist will be able to help him out over time. I have been with a couple of men who have claimed to be "desensitized" due to alot of masturbation so I can see how that could have happened to him.

IVF and IUI are certainly expensive. There is always the "home remedy" of using an instead cup-have you considered that? If you are temping and using OPK you are on top of the "when".

Here is an article on it, incase you have no clue what I am talking about!

Welcome Ryanniebaby,

I too found the man of my dreams a little later in life and just married 3 yrs ago. But that does not mean you are old at all. So get that out of your head! :) If you scroll down to the bfp section, you will find many ladies who are pregnant or already have had their child.

I agree with previous posts, have your partner see a urologist. Our RE ( specialist) suggested IVF treatment for us as well, but price range it's way out of our league, especially when dh still owes $19.000 in tuition... DH Ins.plan doesn't cover IVF, so we are just trying IUI in hopes this would work. In NY prices vary- $200 for our first try then $400 each additional. Each state is different and prices may be chaeper elsewhere.

Keep us posted and know that we are all in this together.

Plenty Baby Dust your way!

Welcome.

Well, I don't think you need to jump right to IVF.
