Well, I can't say I'm new to these boards, but new to this board. Believe it or not, I was an active member on the TTC boards back in 2000, but things have changed a lot since then - for me and for iVilliage. I guess some background would be helpful. Since I was TTC 9 years ago, my exDH and I divorced in 2002 and I've recently remmaried. I'm 41 and DH will be 41 next month. We have 4 children: 16 (g - mine); 14 (b - his); 11 (g - his); and 9 (g - his). We both love kids and love our 4 (which we have full custody of) all as if they're both of ours, but there's a nagging desire within each of us to have an "ours" so...here I am. I have had 2 miscarriages
Hey, welcome, Marie! So sorry about your m/cs. How long have you been TTC? From what I've read, if you're over 35 and have been trying for six months with no luck, it's time to consult a fertility specialist (a.k.a. reproductive endocrinologist, or RE for short). The RE will check your hormone levels and probably recommend an HSG, which will see if your tubes are open. (And then, if you're like me, he/she will tell you IVF is the way to go. :( Which, in my case, seems to be true since we've been TTC for two years with no luck.)
Anyway -- since you've already had kids and were able to get pregnant so recently, I think your odds are good. KUP on how things are going!

Thanks for your support ladies. I guess I'll look into an RE. It sounds like that's a sound first step - as we're baby dancing each month. I hadn't been charting - as we really just decided to ttc but
