If you mean professional help, ie, an RE - it just depends on the RE. Some of them out there take on women in their 40's and others are gloom-doom types. I personally would suggest getting your blood work done now so you can know if there are any imbalances. It took some work, but I was able to talk my family doc into doing these tests for me. (my insurance does not cover fertility or visiting an RE). I wish I had done this earlier, but shoulda-woulda-couldas get you nowhere.

How are you knowing your O date? OPKs?

Hi there. Seven months isn't a long time at our age and most REs I think, would not intervene just yet -- especially if you are BF. I think a few women here have gotten PG while BF, but it can definitely make it more challenging. Most REs where I live won't treat a woman who is BF -- plus you don't want to be taking clomid or anything while BF. I am not suggesting you stop BF

THanks for the replies.

Mattie- yes, by "getting help" I meant fertility help.
