This is a great site to explain hormone levels and what they mean http://www.fertilityplus.org/faq/hormonelevels.html

Clomid lengthened my cycles from 25 days to 35 days so that's entirely possible.

Hi Ivette:

I just noticed your posting and have the following comments:

This reading of your FSH is considered on the high side. Most IVF clinics won't work with women who are over 10. It certainly is not peri-menopausal, but it is above desirable from a fertility clinic perspective. I said "this reading" as it is possible that you may have had a bad test day and also there are ways to get this number lower (through Clomid or DHEA).

In the follicular phase, 1–18 IU/L for LH is normal. So you are A OK there.

Normal Day 3 estradiol levels tend to be around 80 pg/mL or lower. I am not sure how much lower is appropriate, but the things I read suggest that it is the over 80 that is of concern, not the below.

I think I'd be looking (together with your RE) at the FSH number and get their thoughts about the numbers taken in combination.

Hope this helps!

Libby
