I joined the board last summer after having TR surgery.
Thanks for getting back to me.
Sorry I missed this Q Kristi -
>Did you choose your own Demb or did the clinic choose it for you?
hi, Kristi,Just catching up with you re this thread...
I know what you mean when you say that it would be overwhelming to switch clinics. I had to fax over all of the test results three times before my stupid clinic got them all! I guess it was summer. Anyway, getting all of the paperwork for the DE process was just overwhelming in itself. It is odd to me how I could do IVF with them at the drop of a hat, but to do DE took an entire week of tests.
Good luck with your counseling session. I talked about the board support groups I was on and they liked that! It is all really just informational.
I think that we are making the right decision... :-) I'm just going to have my clomid fantasy for a few more weeks, though.
The clinic I go to does not do Demb, although he said there are facilities in states close to us.
I have posted on the DE IV board and did receive much information.
Kristi, sorry for the delayed response...Of course you can email me with any questions.
If I recall correctly you used Donor eggies..
Hi and welcome back Kristi! I wish they wouldn't always relate over stimming to age, it can and does happen at younger ages too. I was 29 when I first started on injectibles (pergonal) because of pcos, and on the single dose I barely responded, and the next dose up I would over stim every time! I had to go to 1 1/2, not the usual thing, but it worked. I also hyperstimulated a couple of times, and did when I took clomid a year ago too. Now I am not using anything at all, just the old fashioned way, lol! If it happens it does, and if not, well, we gave it a go.
I hope everything comes together well for you this time, and it might be worth the hassle of switching doctors to find one that is more supportive.
