hi, Kristi,
Just catching up with you re this thread...

I know what you mean when you say that it would be overwhelming to switch clinics. I had to fax over all of the test results three times before my stupid clinic got them all! I guess it was summer. Anyway, getting all of the paperwork for the DE process was just overwhelming in itself. It is odd to me how I could do IVF with them at the drop of a hat, but to do DE took an entire week of tests.

Good luck with your counseling session. I talked about the board support groups I was on and they liked that! It is all really just informational.

I think that we are making the right decision... :-) I'm just going to have my clomid fantasy for a few more weeks, though.

best,
martha

Mattie,

The clinic I go to does not do Demb, although he said there are facilities in states close to us.

Hi Kristi,
We were going to do DE but couldn't swing the finances and moved to Demb. It was much more attainable for us financially.
Anywho, welcome back and good luck!!

Hi Kristi, I am new to the board and just joined a week ago, I had a m/c at 6 wks back in March, totally unplanned and unexpected pregnancy but we really wanted it and so are TTC again, me 43 my fiance is 47! I am hopeful, on Clomid this cycle, but it is scary thinking it won't happen again.

Hi and welcome back Kristi! I wish they wouldn't always relate over stimming to age, it can and does happen at younger ages too. I was 29 when I first started on injectibles (pergonal) because of pcos, and on the single dose I barely responded, and the next dose up I would over stim every time! I had to go to 1 1/2, not the usual thing, but it worked. I also hyperstimulated a couple of times, and did when I took clomid a year ago too. Now I am not using anything at all, just the old fashioned way, lol! If it happens it does, and if not, well, we gave it a go.

I hope everything comes together well for you this time, and it might be worth the hassle of switching doctors to find one that is more supportive.
