Maybe?

Hi again guys,

I still don't know all of the acronyms and stuff here so forgive me if I use the wrong one or spell it all out. I am day 27 of my cycle. My cycles are irregular but usually are between 29-31 days in length. My boobs have been hurting for a week now (the longest I have ever experienced this is 3 days). The last two days I have been very hungry, I am having some acne issues and now I have a little pink on the TP. I am hoping that this is implantation bleeding. I have been through the insanity of the dreaded 2WW (two week wait) before, so I am aware that this could simply be a slightly early period. It helps me to talk about it though and the excitement of what could be also makes me want to talk. Anyone think it could be pregnancy. I should think the long period of boob pain would lean towards this. I guess I should know for sure in the next few days. The symptoms of pregnancy should be distinctly different from menstruation because it sucks knowing it could be either one. I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Because the symptoms you described are common for pregnancy and/or AF it is so hard to tell. If you only have a little spotting and it is implantation spotting it will still take about 2 days before enough HCG would be in your urine to show on a test. My boobs hurt for the whole 2 weeks so I can't use that as a sign of preg.

I definitely have my fingers crossed for you and can't wait for an update.

...am I crazy to update with every little change? Feeling a little nauseous today... I could be happy about this. It depends :) Still seeing brownish pink, though I would say that it wouldn't even qualify for spotting, it is that insignificant.

Sounds promising! Do you know what day you O'd? Are you going to test or just wait to see if AF is a no-show? Hoping for you...

The nausea went away when I ate something. The "spotting" also away, but breasts still achy and seem slightly larger. I think I will wait until day 32 and if AF hasn't arrived, I will take a HPT. P.S. I found the acronym list. For some reason I didn't see it before.

My next feat is to figure out how to post my chart online. I followed yours to that fertility finder site. Might have to do that. Not sure where I printed this BBT chart off of but will use that, unless I don't have to... :) Also got some Mucinex (just in case). Now I saw you say that you used the BBT vaginally? I think that might be necessary for me as I can't breathe well through my nose most nights and keep water bedside due to dry mouth. I think the open mouth/water might jack with my BBT readings. Guess I will try. I don't see any reason why I can't take my temp tomorrow morning just to start charting, as some site said it takes a full month of charting before the chart can be of great use.

Will update again around day 32... try not to over post b/w now and then. :)

I certainly hope you are pregnant.

How long have you been charting or do you have a chart ready for next cycle? You need to start temping at the beginning of a cycle - it won't really tell you anything if you start towards the end unless you just want to practice. If you do start temping vaginally, you don't have to temp on the days that you are bleeding- too messy!

UPDATE: I know I said I wouldn't repost until I know something but this cycle is driving me insane. Three days ago spotting if you can call it that for a full 24 hours. Then a complete dry up for a day, and then the next day some heavier spotting (and some slight cramping), enough I put a tampon in but after removing it I found it a complete waste of a tampon. Now today, slightly more bleeding but still a tampon waste and man my cramps are worse than normal. Advil reduced the pain but left a dull ache. I am still thinking this could be implantation bleeding but I am betting it is a weird AF. Usually I spot to light flow day 1, day 2 is heavy for me with mild to moderate cramps, day three is medium flow (cramps gone), day 4 is either light or spotting, with somewhat of a light rebound on day 5 (which is always the last day unless it ends on day 4). Bazaar cycles make me nuts and hopeful. Prefer a normal flow over a flow that makes me crazy.

Thanks Annemarie. I will think of it as a fresh start, with renewed hope. I honestly don't think this is actually going to happen anyway. I would be pleasantly surprised if it does. My DH and I have never used BC (only rhythum method - no I am not that religious I just prefer not to use BC with all the chemicals). Anyway, I think that method is least reliable, or at least one would think. Additionally, I only have one ovary, the other was removed as a teen. Doctors said I could still get pg. However, my DH had a major car accident at age 18 (nearly lost his leg). His docs said that his sperm count was low. In any event, I figure my one ovary + his low count + me 42 = unlikely possibiity. I still try with the hope that it can happen. Who knows, baby dust is needed in great supply.
