Yep, we're all in the same boat, or did we fall out and nobody threw us a live preserver, lol

I'm about to turn 44 in August and I was 42 when I started TTC so I know the frustration and I know there are a few other ladies on this board who have been trying longer than me, a lot trying to conceive their first.

Hi Trisha, welcome!!! this is truly a difficult journey we have signed on for... I am 44 and in the past year, I had two successful clomid cycles. Unfortunately they both ended in m/c, with the last being at almost 12 weeks. that has reeked havoc on my body in a serious way. it's an emotional journey that has no guarantees!!! But i feel the same way. I pray that God will not let my fertility end on two miscarriages!!! HUGS to you!! I hope the clomid is successful for you!!!!

Hi Trina, and welcome to the board. I am glad that you picked yourself up and feel better. As the PPs said, it really is a rollercoaster and it doesn't get easier. I hope that you have success and that you find support and encouragement here.

Hi and welcome. I know how frustrating it is too, seems like we have been ttc'ing ever since we got married 22 yrs ago! And in a way I suppose we have, sometimes more actively than at other times, and not too much since our youngest was born in Nov of 06. Twice I was surprised to find out I was pregnant since we weren't really trying then, but sadly I lost them both. I am like both you and Lynda, I really don't want my journey to end with a loss. On the other hand, I am 44 and seriously running out of time. We are actively trying for the next few months, but we will see what happens after that. Hopefully things happen before then, but given how our first month on clomid has gone, I am not very hopeful any more. I hope we see lots of sticky BFPs on this board very soon!

Hi Trina,
I can totally relate! I am also almost 41 and TTC #3. Kids are 12 and 8. We m/c this year in June at 16 weeks. Very very scared about trying again but praying everyday and building up strength. It's hard while we are still grieving the loss of our child. But I feel encouraged by the ladies here. Shows that God has complicated plans for many of us, but that many will find what they seek.
Good luck to you and your family.
